[Orlando Bloom]

Orlando jogged quickly down the stairs, wearing nothing but a pink polo shirt and slightly baggy jean shorts . He was so eager to get to the lake. The common room had felt unusually closed in today so he'd decided to go outside. He collasped onto the grass, feeling winded. After all he had run all the way from the common room. He resisted the urge to take out a cigarette, he was trying, and failing, to quit. He took of his shirt instead and folded it neatly.

He ripped off his jeans and folded them too. Now he was clad only in his swimming trunks. He looked around then stretched. He then backed up, to a nearby tree. Running forward again he ran screaming and jumped into the water. Laughing, he resurfaced a couple minutes later. He saw people looking at him weirdly and grinned wider. He waved to a couple of them, recieving nasty glares from some Slytherins. The others pretended not to see him.

Orlando shrugged and went on swimming. His hair was matted to his face so he shook his head to get it out. He floated on his back, splashing water on himself when ever the sun grew too hot. He wondered if he would get a sunburn then decided he didn't care. That was what the infamary(sp?) was for. Besides, a little pain never hurt any body.

Would you believe me if I told you not all Slytherins glared?

One stared, in fact, she gave him a blank stare throughout the entire process of him approaching, stripping, running to the base of the tree and then plunging into the lake's water. It was shameful enough to say she had no idea what he was doing until he actually lunged. Her brain wasn't snapping as quickly as it used to.

Adriana would have been perhaps a bit more colder if she knew that he was in Gryffindor. Though at the moment, she had no idea- none at all thanks to that pink shirt. Real men wear pink..Ahaha, was that really the only thing that could come to her mind from seeing a pink shirt on a guy? .... Probably.

She had been pleasantly sitting in the large oak tree before he approached, doing what no one would believe she did- reading. Yes, of course, standing around and looking pretty was all whores were good for. Hardly! She wouldn't start ranting now about it of course, there was a certain shirtless student that had gotten her attention off that rather quickly.

When he came towards the tree, she almost panicked, dropping her book with a muffled thud by the time he ran into the water. Boys, god, all they do nowadays is attempt to give women heart attacks. Though seeming run back like that made her burst into laughter. Well, so much for being quiet. She couldn't help it- it had just been a long time since she had seen anyone act like the children they all were at one point.

However, that little book sitting face down on the grass caught her attention again. Oh, right, the one she was reading. It'd be rude to stare at the student all day; she needed to finish the last chapter anyways. Grumbling lightly, she made her way off the branch and down the rest of the tree, slightly wishing she hadn't picked a mini-skirt to be in until she hit the ground. It hadn't fallen /too/ far.

Orlando opened his eyes as he heard someone laughing. He lifted his wet head and looked around for the source. He finally spotted a girl reading a book of sorts. Shrugging, he stopped floaing on his back and strated to thread the water. He picked up the pace and was soon at the edge of the water. He lifted himself onto the ground and picked up his wand from his pile of clothes. He conjured a towel and dried himself rapidly then hung it around his neck.

''Hello, find my swimming methods amusing?'' He asked her with a grin. He surveyed her thoroughly and thought with a grin, 'That skirt of hers must be a pain in the ass. Literally.' He shook his head, flicking beads of water everywhere. ''So who might you be?'' He asked, sitting next to her.

''Hello, find my swimming methods amusing?''

Adriana swiveled around in surprise, blinking. She had expected maybe a light wave, but not him actually coming out of the water. Ah, well, no matter, might as well say hello. She laughed lightly, grinning in return, "Well.... Let's just say it was cute."She said, yelping slightly when she was hit by an array of flying drops, blocking most of them by holding up her hands in defense.

''So who might you be?''
"I'm Adriana. Adriana Lima." She answered, deciding a last name was in need too before holding out her hand to shake. "And you are..?"

''Orlando, Orlando Bloom.'' He said, copying her way of introducing herself. He shook her hand firmly. ''Sorry about that.'' He apologized. But of course he didn't really mean it. ''So let me get this straight.'' He said after a minute or two. ''You're reading...instead of swimming?'' He cocked his head to the side in that cute way og his.

He drew his knees up before suddenly getting up. ''Be right back.'' He said, running to where his clothes where. He picked them up and returned to where Adriana was. ''Better take them before someone else does.'' He said panting slightly. ''I've seen you before.'' He said, really taking the time to look at her closer.

He shook his head and leaned back on his hands. ''Well, you're obviously a student any how. House and year?'' He asked. He brought a hand to his face and rubbed his eyes. He muttered under his breath for a few seconds then turned his head to look at her.

"It's nice to meet you." She smiled, pulling back her hand once he let go. She nodded her head to acknowledge his apology, but even someone as slow [at times] as Adriana knew he only said it to be polite. Before the awkward silence could even begin, he spoke again- his words causing her to raise her brows in question, "It seems so. I would've gone today, but your little scene of running while screaming your head off kind of scared me into staying in the tree."

Her plan had been to go swimming after those ickle first years disappeared. They were gone now, thankfully- those little brats were enough to make a monster out of her. She watched Orlando curiously, confused again with what he was doing before he returned with an explanation. "Hee. You're lucky you talked to me first or I'd probably be the one hiding them." She answered quickly before staring back at him when he spoke.

He had a point. Maybe it wasn't clicking right away, but Adriana had seen his face before. Though... he wasn't in her house, that was for sure or he wouldn't be out here asking her what house -she- was in. "Seventh, I'm a nasty Slytherin." She answered with some humor, pulling her knees up to her torso and wrapping her arms around them. "And you're in.... Gryffindor, am I right?" She added after a second or two of waiting, almost positive she had seen him eating on that house table before. Who knew, it was easy to get confused with over five hundred students in one room.

Orlando laughed, ''Sorry, that was only to take my mind off my craving...but its back and I can't resist any longer.'' He picked up his shorts and rummaged in their pockets, producing a cigarette. He used his wand to ignite and took a long drag. Exhaling it through his nose he said, ''Hope I'm not disturbing you, but its been ages since I've one.'' Okay, that was a lie, it had only been a couple of hours.

''I am indeed a Gryffindor and a seventh year also.'' He said. He tapped his cigarette, holding it to the side, to get rid of the ashes. ''Yeah, yeah, I know it kills. I have a very good spell to take care of that.'' He paused, ''Oh, geeze, I'm rambling again.'' He took another short drag on his fag and blew out two smoke rings.

''So, any ideas for topic subjects?'' He asked, giving her a sexy grin((i just had to add that, he's so hott *swoons*)). ''I'm fresh out.'' He twirled his wand between two of his fingers, looking at her and inhaling on his fag again.

"Don't bother, I'm already a badass." Adriana cut between his words, taking the cigarette and putting it in her own mouth. It had been literally ages for her if only a few hours for him, but one drag was enough or else her mother would find out for sure and beat her to the ground the second she stepped off the Express. Putting the cig back in his fingers, she shrugged innocently, continuing to listen.

"Trust me. I know. My mom is obsessed with getting me off all the bad things I've done and that means lectures galore." She said with a roll of her eyes, lightly scratching the back of her head. Habit.

Now in that world, girls had their smiles and guys had their grins. Adi almost melted at that last grin he gave her, but luckily, she was talented in keeping emotions at bay. Though she did stare at him for a whole three seconds before actually snapping back to life, "Okay, let's see." She replied finally, shifting her eyes towards the lake, watching the Giant Squid lift a tentacle out of the water before splashing it back down. ".... I want to swim now. Ever touched the Squid?"

Orlando chuckled and gave her a new cigarette, lighting it for her. He stepped on his own, since it was burned down all the way, and popped another one into his mouth. ''I've restricted myself to two per day but sometimes I slip.'' He said, lighting his and hers. ''The cheap ones are better than the expensive ones. I wish I would remember that everytime I go to the store. They burn out so damn fast.'' He sighed and inhaled deeply, then blowing out a spiral of smoke. ''Been hooked on this stuff for ages.'' He said, ''Mom's not too happy about it.''

''Touched the Giant Squid?'' He asked, standing up. ''Honey, I've rode the thing once or twice.'' He looked out into the water before saying, ''Wanna ride me?'' His face turned red and shook his head quickly. ''I mean, wanna ride with me....on it I mean.'' He smacked himself in the head. ''Sorry, hormones.'' He apologized.

"Maybe some other time. When we're not getting ready to go ride the squid instead." She answered despite his apology, laughing lightly- dropping the cigarette and crushing it beneath her feet now that it was time to go in the water. Some use that would be in there. Grabbing her wand, she magicked her clothes into becoming a dark colored bikini instead since she honestly didn't want to run in the castle and get one.

Adriana wasn't one to wait to get what she wanted, so in seconds time she was already waist deep in water, waving and hollering how much longer he was going to stand out there and gawk. The water was damn cold, she'd admit that, but with her ego- not a trace of it showed on her skin.

Orlando gaped at her before shaking his head. He grinned and ran into the water, screaming as he did so. He sniggered as he got closer to Adriana. ''I just love doing that.'' He said to her. ''Now, let's find that squid.'' He inhaled deeply and wass about to go under before he realized he realized that he hadn't put out his cigarette. He couldn't be arsed to get out of the water and stomp out it so he flicked it into the water. ''Maybe one of the minnows will fancy a smoke.'' He said, grinning madly.

He tookanother deep breath and immersed himself completely in the lake. He swam a bit deeper and grabbed Adriana's legs then pulled her under. He grinned at her then swam a little ways off so she wouldn't hit him. He was used to that and had many scratch marks on his arms to prove it. ''I don't see it.'' He mouthed to her after looking around for a bit.))

"You're out of your mind." She breathed between fits of laughter, shaking her head as if it was much too late to change him. With a deep breathe, she plunged into the water and it wasn't long until she felt the ripples of water from him going under as well. Though before she got a clear breathe of air, a hand wrapped around her ankle and pulled her under without warning.

She resurfaced again, gasping for air before swallowing more oxygen and dunking under the surface. Just in time too. She blinked as her eyes adjusted to the darkness below, seeing Orlando's mouth faintly form the words, "I don't see it."

She thought for a moment before pulling out her wands, a small ribbon shooting from the tip and forming words in the water so that she wouldn't have to open her own mouth. 'Go further out, it won't be near shore at this time.'

This was ridiculous. She was going after a giant, monstrous squid. What ever happened to common sense?

Orlando nodded to show he understand. Then he pointed towards the lower, darker parts of the water to show that they should try their. 'Accio wand.' He thought and his wand came racing into his hands. He then took the lead, swimming fast but not quickly enough for Adriana to lose sight of him. 'Lumos.' He thought and his wand lit up, casting a weak beam of light. 'Lumos Maximus.' He thought again and the beam grew to that of a regular sixed flashlight.

He rolled his eyes at himself then cast a strange spell on his head. A clear bubble appeared around his head and he pointed his wand at her and cast the spell. ''Now we can talk, breath, and hear. Just don't let the bubble pop.'' He said to her. ''I think I just saw a tentacle.'' He pointed his wand at the spot where he'd though he'd seen it.

"We're going to get killed."

Bluntly put, truly said. That thing was going to eat them. But the smirk on her face just stayed plastered there with the tone of amusement in her voice. "If only McGonagall was here to see this. She'd have a heart attack." And nothing would please her more, that old hag had it coming for her anyways.

What could you do? Slytherins always had that evil bit in them.

"I wonder how deep you'd have to go to see merpeople." She added randomly, ice blue eyes beginning to wander below to stare at the darkness that loomed over the water. With a quick mutter, she lighted her own wand- sending a sparks of red light towards the bottom only to see it fade before she even got a chance to see anything.

Sighing lightly, she turned her attention back to Orlando, blinking when he pointed to a direction. A tentacle? Squid! She had never seen the Giant Squid completely- only it's tentacles. But so far, she imagined something along the lines of the Kraken from that Muggle pirate movie. Big, tall and scary.

Orlando smirked at her in an almost Slytherin like way. ''We're not going to die, I'm here.'' He wasn't usually one for cockiness but sometimes it reared its ugly head out of his mouth. ''I'd say we'd have to be about this deep.'' He said to her when she mentioned minnows. ''Their pretty danngerous, even against two 7th years.'' He said. ''But we can take them on, right?'' He asked, swimming over to her.

''You wanna continue?'' He asked. This wasn't a Gryffindor he was with, he reminded himself. Slytherins did have a reputation for bailing out and saving their own skins. ''Have you ever even seen the Giant Squid? The whole thing?'' He crossed his arms over his chest and stared pointedly at her.
