Since we don't have one, i wanted to open one and write a few things in my mind. I this this thread will be needed, V-chan, if you think this won't belong here, feel free to move =D

Since it's only 3 of us at the moment, and seimei is out and we have plenty of time, i suggest we quickly move to the night and meet at teahouses. Since all our characters are mooore active at their nightlife.

And I'm afraid I'm against that idea rose-chan. I'll make my samurai old man make some move but since I'm on my own in some certain fields it'll be slow. I've built a lot of the background upto now though. I'll try to be quick and try to post more often. But I don't think we'll be able to switch to night before a week. And it's morning on shrine, not every moment should be lively but. well... I want this RP to be quite a little special, nothing to be rushed. Starting will be boring for now because we all have characters which can hardly interactivate with each other.

Please bare a little more, and feel free to add characters. It'll be better that way also.

I'm thinking of making more charries. I'm also more than willing to create other chars for various purposes since school is ending soon for me anyway in a few weeks.

But for now I'm gonna be the most inactive since I'm picking up more hours at work and am having lots of problems in life whilst attempting to pull my grades up as high as possible for extra good marks for finals this semester. :/

No worries Rhi, I'm taking this slow as well because of school. I really need to pass from all subjects and I can't afford a fall in my cumulative.(is that how it's written in english? in case it's not even an english word, I meant my avarage grade overall)
So, take your time, no need to rush in here I'd be glad to have some more minor charries from you both, if you can afford. Not a detailed profile is necessary for them. You can always will their background later.

i as well will create many more, and you guys know my capasity from Dark Impulse XD, as soon as my school finishes. this week is a busy one for me, i must juggle both for project and exams and the festival tour guide business. i really don't know how i'll do them all, but i think i'll manage. 2 weeks till school ands and add 3 more till the finals are over. finals won't be a great burden to me, i think i'll have enough time. . .

i think you guys better save a geisha and a military leutenant spot for me. . . even maybe a daimyo. i'll work on them later but my mains are seimei and kitsu ~<3

Hi everyone <3 first of, it's totally awesome joining this RP and many thanks for having me...
I was actually thinking of taking up more than one character but even with the one I have, I think I'd have to say that I'm finding navigating around all the different scenes and different characters a bit hard.
I'm really sorry to say this because I really do love this RP and loved the idea of it being laid out like this but now that I'm actually trying to keep up with it, it's just a bit impractical... I'm not good with names and having to read about 7 different characters at different places, fitting it all together and trying to remember who's met who, where, and what has been said and done whilst trying to think how my own could fit in without ruining anything... well, I think my head just exploded ^^;

I don't mind taking things slow and certainly don't mind lengthy posts [in fact yay for time to develop characters and yay for giant posts of doom <3] but I think I really should ask if the threads will eventually lead into being just one plot line where the characters are present together [with some in other places of course when it's necessary for the story] ?

It's just that my character is in a place where nothing is happening now and given how V-chan is moving the plot else where, I'm kinda out o__O;;; so um, help please? a little guidance?
should I move Kiyoshi to another place so that he could interact with the other characters? or should I just wait until the plot comes back to the place he is at?

I'm dumb I know [<- even with 6 months worth of Japanese Arts and Culture Studies under her belt, she's still dumb] and I'm already finding keeping up with this a bit hard with just three players replying, goodness knows how I am going to manage when more join T___T
so I guess, what I'm also asking is, should I stop now and leave before I ruin anything with my useless attempts T___T?

Actually the reason I opened topics for different places just to make sure no one gets confused while one is posting in an okiya and other is posting into somewhere totally different.

Think about it like his, what happens in a room stays there. when you move to a different location story continues in a different environment so you can move on anyway. This way it's easier for players to keep track of events, because characters present on that location post only to the topic. Just bother with the topic your character is in and follow that one only. If you want to have a good idea of what happened overall, either visit other topics and read posts or read the storyline topic on Rules&FAQ subforum. Either way is ok.

After building more characters, you can jump, visit other topics as well. I won't leave anyone alone even they're on their own in a topic. XD Don't worry about ruining stuff, you should know better that sometimes mistakes can make art&life more spicy =D If you post something you didn't want to, edit the post and write a notification about it since someone could've read non-edited version before. If you post a topic you didn't intend to, let me know and I'll delete the post so you can repost same thing on correct one.

So, if we sum it all... if you keep back I'd be angry at you, don't hesitate to write here. ALL OF YOU!!! Don't worry about messing up stuff, we're no pros about Japan history/culture/art blah blah... We're here to have fun, right? so let's have fun! =D

=o Negshin sounds glompable. *GLOMP!* x3 Welcome to Neo O, Neg-Neg. ^^ CAN I MAKE UP NICKNAMES FOR YOU?! xD Even if you say 'no' I probably will anyway. I lack a memory. XD

Anyway the easiest way to think of this is simple: think of it in terms of real life. You can only be in one place (or...do you have a clone? xD' ) and then when you leave that place, you go somewhere else...I've done one of these RPs before, they are designed usually for a large amount of people. In this case, we already have more characters than we have players. While it might be difficult to remember who's doing what, I say skip the "he-said she-said" stuffings (at least until you get the hang of this thing) and just try to keep a few small facts in mind...for that matter, if you're having alot of trouble with keeping things straight in your mind with the SHEER VOLUME of characters (since here, we all have this tendency to make complex charries, and make many of them xD) then just open up a separate window to the profiles page. I'm known to do that whenever I have questions. It's less of a pain in the ass.

The other thing I HIGHLY suggest is, when writing a post...to often select what you've written so far and click 'copy'. This site is pretty good about keeping a user logged on, but Invision itself has its little problems so just keep that in mind: you don't wanna lose what you've written., however, if you select the option of 'remember me', or whatever it is, and are therefore logged in every time you visit the site, then you won't have to worry too much about that problem. I only worry about it because my laptop is a little spazzy and sometimes I hit a button by accident and it closes the window...but hey, at least my ordinarily maaaaassive posts are saved to the Clipboard.

Ugh... This RP is okay so far and all, but lately I have had zero motivation to do ANYTHING WHATSOEVER. Good thing I havent gotten too far into it. Although part of the issue for me is that this isn't very interesting yet, not a hell of a lot has happened since its beginning (as far as I've read) and since I didn't help make it, I somehow don't feel obligated to post in it like I do with the others. I'm so disused to this rp that I'm more apt to check out FD and DI. XD

I'll try harder guys but lemme tell ya, I need to get motivated for this SOMEHOW at this point because I've got classes coming up again so I'll be busy once more. It's now or never to get me hooked and totally interested in this rp.

Not that I'll abandon it anyway. And I'm not complaining either. I just felt that I should make my feelings know.

Nor am I suggesting that I'm someone you want to be hooked on this RP, because I dunno how you feel.
