Yea so when she sings that her long hair glows and it cal heal pretty much anything. Also her tears can heal as well but... she doesn't know that.... oh and here's the song if you want to hear it and yea it glows just like that.

build: She is petite. She is slim and has a figure and a pretty good one two. She isn't one to flaunt it though due to her sheltered life. Oh and she is short.

fashion sense: Raquel doesn't exactly have a set in stone style... She has pretty much been a sheltered girl her whole life and didn't have the chance to see what other girls around her age wore to base a style if her own on. But her clothes are modest in a way. She is often found in clothes that complement her body while still being modest and not sowing anything off to anyone as well. Comfortable clothes that aren't very baggy or too tight. And brighter colors are a favorite of hers as well.
overall appearance: Raquel has long, straight pale blond hair. It flows down to the ground and it drags a good foot behind her unless she pins it up. And yes as stated before it glows when she sings a particular song and has healing properties. Aside from that she almost always leaves it alone only brushing it and letting it fall naturally and it is often framing her childish face. The orbs in her face that can only be called her eyes are a beautiful shade of green that she loves. She is rather short but she doesn't mind it knowing that she is still young and still has plenty of time to grow some more. She has herself a nice figure with the hourglass and everything and while she doesn't flaunt it, she wears clothes that fit her well and often times show her figure. She childish features such as being short, having a childish face, and wide eyes often make people underestimate her. Something she despises but doesn't know how to go about making people think she is capable of handling herself. She doesn't let anything stop her from being her though. She also has a fair complexion but she thankfully doesn't burn easily in the sun. All in all she is a young beauty some might think with the pale features and bright eyes. But she is a bit too naive to notice such things.

similarities to the canon: • SHELTERED ~ Kelly grew up on a farm in the country side of Bath, England. She wasn't allowed to leave because her mother refused to let her leave saying she wasn't fit for life off the farm. That she had to be protected from people who were mean because everyone out there would harm her if they could. Rapunzel was stuck in the tower in the middle of nowhere because her mother wouldn't let her leave to protect her.
• MOTHER KNOWS BEST/WHEN WILL MY LIFE BEGIN? ~ In those two songs in the movie its describes her likes and strengths and her dislikes and weaknesses. So yes this does count as a similarity.
• LONGING FOR FREEDOM ~ Kelly wants to see the world beyond the fences of her mother's farm. She did get what she wanted thanks to her best friend Alik but it wasn't easy. Her mother being over protective and all. Like wise, Rapunzel wanted nothing more than to see the lights but she couldn't leave the tower because of her mother.

overall personality: Raquel is a sweet girl. She is nice to most people I mean she can be pretty cautious of people at times but generally she is a very nice and open girl. She likes making friends and such but she can be taken advantage of easily due to being naive. Kelly is also young and impressionable, in other words gullible. She is scared of quite a few things because her mother instilled fear into her to keep her from leaving the farm. But she is getting better about it thanks to being off the farm and her best friend taking her to the city before hand.

overall history: Raquel was born to two happy parents who owned a large farm in the country side near Bath England. A few months after her birth her father went missing and was found dead a month later. Her mother was devastated and determined to keep the same from happening to her darling baby. As soon as Kelly was old enough to understand she told her how awful the world off the farm was like. She never went anywhere or did anything except for run around the huge farm and talk to the many animals that lived there. She never argued with her mother though and remained on the farm, even when her mother left to work and run errands and such.
When she was eight she was wandering around her farm when she saw a boy that looked to be around her age, maybe a year older than her. She squeaked and ran away but her followed her and she freaked out when he caught up with her and asked her who she was and what she was doing there. So she answered with wide eyes that she lived on the farm and her name was Raquel Viviana Brooks. He smiled and said that he was Alek Drago Karlen, lived in Bath but had moved from Sweden. The two became fast friends and he came almost everyday but when he tried to get her to leave the farm she froze up and refused. He always kept trying and it took a year before she finally agreed to go. But she said not for a week because her mother was going on a trip then and they would have two days so there was no way for her mother, who had been forbidding her from leaving, to catch her. She didn't even know about Alek. So when he did take her to the city she was amazed with the place she was scared of course but she had fun and they planned more and more trips to the city and kept it up for a few years.
When she was twelve her mother caught her and Alek coming into the house one evening. She was furious and kicked Alek out screaming at him and Kelly cried and begged her not to get mad at him and she wasn't allowed out of the house for a month. She was let out again and she still went with Alek to the city and such. And then she was visited by men from Nemare academy telling her who she was and saying she should come to the school. She smiled an nodded but her mother refused to let her go. Later when Alek came to see her she found out the Nemare people came for him too and that he was going. He didn't know that she had been visited to she had come to say good bye. She started crying saying it wasn't fair that she couldn't go because of her mother. He then convinced her to run away and go with him. So she wrote a letter to her mother, put it on her pillow and put other pillows under the covers making it look like she was sleeping, and then she ran away that night. And now she is there at Nemare kind of shy but outgoing at the same time making new friends but still a bit unsure that it's safe in the world.
