Hello everyone,
In case you haven't received this from anyone else, here's an invitation to a day in the company of masses of interested people plus actual and prospective beekeepers!
Cheers, Vini
I do hope that you enjoyed your time at “A Bit of a Do” last year in Truro. Feedback from attendees was extremely positive and we have introduced a number of suggested changes. This year there will be more time for networking and browsing. Lunch will be better – the problem with the vegetarian pasties was a mistake by the school which will not be repeated. There will still be pasties available, but also sandwiches, and you can of course bring your own packed lunch. We also have a highly entertaining keynote speaker lined up – Graham Royle from Cheshire Beekeepers whose talk “If Heath Robinson had been a Beekeeper” is becoming quite famous.

Tickets go on sale on the 5th of July, but you can now download an application form from www.westcornwallbka.org.uk/bitofado and send it off to Heather Williams. As the school have increased their rates we have had to increase the cost of the tickets to £7 in advance and £10 on the door (if tickets are still available). Last year we had 120 attendees and with the substantial growth in membership, increased publicity and our intention to attract potential beekeepers as well as established beekeepers, we expect to reach our capacity of 200 and so would suggest that you do not delay your applications to avoid disappointment.

The website has the latest schedule with confirmed speakers and trade stands.
