1. NO FLAMING/HARASSING. It will not be tolerated. Members found to be flaming and/or harassing others are subject to being warned and even banned. If you feel you are being flamed or harassed by a member, please report him or her to the admin/leaders immediately. Remember, you will always remain anonymous when we deal with the member.

2. YOU MUST have your all characters, animals and summons accepted by staff in order to role-play with them. Any member found to be RPing with a character not previously accepted will first receive a verbal warning. If the same member is seen RPing with an unaccepted character again, their warn level will be increased. If the problem becomes persistent, the member risks being suspended or banned.

3a. NO GOD-MODING. When your character never gets hurt, always lands their hits, and is seemingly invincible in every way - you're god moding. If you are found to be god-moding, you will be given, at first, a verbal warning. If it's a continuing problem, your warn level will rise and you run the risk of being suspended or banned.

3b. NO KILLING. You are not allowed to kill another member's character, except in cases where you have the character owner's permission. When you kill another character without the user's consent, you will be warned. If you kill other member's characters multiple times, you are likely to be suspended or banned.

4a. PLEASE use the best grammar and spelling as you are able to when RPing. Not everyone passed their English courses with an A++ and we understand that. This rule simply means we do not want to see chat-speak (i.e., wat r u doin?) in the role-play areas. We would appreciate it if chat-speak were to remain out of the OOC areas, but you will not be reprimanded for using it there.

4b. NO double posting or "bumping" in topics. We understand the accidental posts, if your browser/internet malfunctions and posts twice, and it is not your fault. However, if you are seen constantly bumping and double posting in topics, IC and OOC, you will be warned.

4c. NO spamming. Spam posts are short, and often unrelated to the topic. They are commonly one-worded, even being solely made up of emoticons. This rule also applies to spamming via PMs. Members found spamming are subject to being warned, suspended and even banned.

6. RESPECT TAGGED TOPICS! If you see that, in a topics name or description, the topic creator has tagged specific users, it implies that ONLY those users are part of that topic. If you do wish to post in a tagged topic that you are not tagged in, please contact the member who started the topic.

7. ALWAYS follow the InvisionFree Terms of Use! Naruto RP is hosted by InvisionFree, and anything posted on our board must comply with their Terms of Use, found here.

8. RESPECT our copyright and the copyright of our members. This includes, but is not limited to, the copyright held on templates, artwork, graphics and characters.

9. NO huge signatures or avatars! Avatars can be no larger than 150 pixels wide and 250 pixels long (and is automatically controlled by the board), and signatures must be no larger than 500 pixels wide by 400 pixels long. Members who go outside these signature boundaries will be warned and have their signatures removed.

10. HAVE FUN! Remember, the rules aren’t here to punish you. They are here to make the board a safer and more fun place for everyone.
