CRY was my 2nd favorite game. Here is my review:

Plot 10/10:
Nancy visits a friend, Henry Bolet in the Big Easy to sympathize the friend's great-uncle's death that happened in the family. When Nancy opens up the creaking doors, she discovers things far too intricate to explain. Henry's great-uncle owned the "Whisperer", a crystal skull which will allow him to live forever from natural causes. Yet, he died of a heart attack. Is the skull of crystal a fake? Or is
something more sinister is at work?

Characters: 7.5/10
In every ND Game, everyone has a secret. And I've noticed that the last secret discovered from a suspect is the culprit him/herself.

Henry Bolet: Henry, the great-nephew of Bruno Bolet, was a well-mannered person and the executor of Bruno's estate who was supposed to get part of the estate. He is annoyed seeing that Bruno's papers weren't yet taken care of. He seems to have a great life observing his words and actions. Or is he just being pretentious to get the so-called crystal skull? He is a great part of the game and his graphics were well-demontrated.

Renee Amande: Ms. Amande is Bruno Bolet's housekeeper and gardener who is quite a peculiar person. She believes in many superstitions and in the practice of strange things. Renee still manages the Bolet Mansion even though Bruno Bolet is deceased. She says Bruno payed her in advance. Is that true or does she have a hidden agenda regarding the crystal skull, after all she is superstitious. Renee is a nice touch in the characters. She is a unique part of the game.

Lamont Warrick: Lamont owns Zeke's curio shop near the French Quarter. From books to mystical toasts. Yes, he collects all things colorful and the crystal skull is one of them. He gives you a tour but does not welcome you to check out some 'assorted unknown items'.Crystal Skull, Lamont, Curio Shop. A perfect equation for a SUSPECT! Hehehehe, Lamont is one of the funniest characters. He seems to always fall on Bess' tricks.

Dr. Gilbert Buford: Dr. Buford is Bruno Bolet's retired physician who spends most of his time in a gumbo stand. Being one of Bruno's friends, Bruno showed the crystal skull to Buford and said that it will make him immortal. Gilbert, saying that it was all utter nonsense, had been ignored by Bruno and refused to talk to him. Was there something in Gilbert's head that intended him to keep the crystal skull so that he could be immortal also? After all, suspicion is given to a person when your the first one to see death in person. Comments is given to this chararcter because I only spoke to him a few times.

Puzzles 8.5/10:
Most of the puzzles were all good. But, some puzzles were repititive and boring to do.
Most Favorite Puzzles: Marble Puzzle and the Contraption Puzzle
Least Favorite Puzzles: Clock Puzzle and the Teeth Books Puzzles

Graphics and Environment 9/10:
The graphics was best of all the Nancy Drew Games I have ever played. The graphics were all about action and it matched the scary environment. The only problem was the cemetery. It looked like it was so big and you only get to explore a few places in there.

The Scare Meter: 7/10
The things scary about this game is the skeleton man and Renee's strange behavior.
The meeting of the Jolly Rogers was quite suspenseful.
Others:
Bruno Bolet's animals were a nice touch.

Overall 8.5/10:
Overall the game was good. The suspense sprinkled around the game instead of giving too much. The puzzles were brainteasing. Each suspect had a secret and a personality. The graphics were well-demonstrated. Bravo HerInteractive! typerhappy.gif
