Treasure in the Royal Tower-Please help resolve my problem:
CRC error: The file C: \ Nancy Drew \ Treasure in the Royal Tower \ HD Video\ TNL_GEX.avf doesn't match the file in the setup's .cab file. The medium which you are running the setup maybe corrupted; contact your software vendor.
And:
The screen crashes when I walk from the hallways pan right (that's where downstairs lead) and continue.
I hope there are solutions for my problems. Patches would be better!

Have you tried opening the .cab file and editing the file path? (Save a copy before editing system files) The same thing happened to me with CUR. What's happening is the game tries to open a file that simply isn't there. So you tell it which file to open instead.

Just be very careful if you decide to do this. Please ask my help if you need it!

Good luck. I love TRT; sorry it isn't working for you. comfort.gif

This might not work, but I had a similar problem when I tried to play my older games on Windows Vista. When installing it, when they have the location that it's installing it to, erase whatever they already have there and put C:\program files\Nancy Drew\Treasure in the Royal Tower\ (and if you're playing a different game, obviously do the same thing but with the different game name in there.

Why can't we give love that one more chance?
'Cause love's such an old-fashioned word
And love dares you to care for the people on the edge of the night
And love dares you to change our way of caring about ourselves
