Technical and Historical Notes In CE 74, a project for a new place for the various mercenary groups was put into action. This purpose of this project, was to build a space station; one that was big enough to hold a small fleet worth of ships. As a joint project with several well known companies, the backing for this station would be held up 110 percent. In CE 78, the station becomes fully operational; With news of Space Station "Nora", as it has been named, began receiving a lot of traffic. Many groups, such as the famous Serpent Tail, use the station as a rest stop and a place for resupply. Nora currently hovers above the Earth in the newly appointed L6 location, residing between L5 and L3.
Nora has many ship docks, including six large docking spots for warship sized ships. There are six smaller docking bays that small ships can used, while eighteen air-lock docking spots can be used for shuttles and other small units. As a precaution to being attacked or threatened by any outside force, the station has a perimeter defense system set in place to ensure they can defend themselves. There are Several CIWS emplacements encircling the station of which each half will fire either 20mm or 12.5mm rounds. There are eight 8-tube helldart missile launchers for multi-purpose use.
