History:

Valletta is a girl who has experience the loss of loved ones at a very young age; at the age of five, Valletta was orphaned and placed in an orphanage for two years. On April 10th CE 55, during a birthday party set up by the other kids, Valletta’s final present was an adoption by couple who longed to have a child of their own. Valletta left the orphanage to start her new life as a “Garrett”, a life that would end in sorrow later on as she grew up. Valletta cherished her new family, giving her new mom and dad much love. In time, she enrolled in schooling, making plenty of new friends and making sure her grades were top of the line. Thanks to the teachings she had during her time as an orphan, she was able to keep her grades high. It was not to say that she was perfect, every once in a while, she’d get a D or C. These grades were easily brought back up with extra credit assignments and such.

Going through school was not easy, but after graduating from High School in C.E 66, she moved on to get a job in town. She did not want to leave her parents yet, so she made sure she was able to stay close by in case of any emergencies. Valletta soon learned of her father’s Job as an officer in the Atlantic Federation military; she did not agree with his job because she did not like fighting, but in the end, she came to terms with her father’s job and stopped fussing about it.

In CE 70, Valletta’s father is killed during the battle of Nova; his mobile armor is impaled with a Ginn Sword through the viewing port in front and goes straight through his head. It was a dark day when this happened, because the same day she lost her father was when something in her snapped. Valletta ran to the recruitment office in town and enlisted in the Atlantic Federation military. She would follow her father’s footsteps, but attempt to avenge him so that she could hopefully come to terms with his death. This plan, or course, never died down, so she kept on fighting until every last Coordinator. The fact was, though, it was not the Coordinators she hated, it was the Military they created called ZAFT. She was so enraged with hate the she would not be able to tell the difference between civilian or soldier. Valletta continued to fight the war, going into as many battles as her unit* could. Valletta was ready to call it quits because she had questioned her reason for fighting as a military soldier; this idea as cut short when she learned that her mother had been killed in a Coordinator attack.

During Valletta’s time in the military, her mother had become the victim to an attack by a coordinator group hiding out in her hometown. Valletta’s hatred towards ZAFT became full on hatred for coordinators in general, he rage fueling her to keep killing them until they were all gone. On September 26th CE 71, during second Jachin Due; Valletta takes part in the fighting as a mobile suit pilot, the 01 Strike Dagger was not the best of them, but it did do the job quite nicely. Valletta was not the best pilot out there either, but she managed to take down four Ginns during her an attack run on a ZAFT formation. Of course she did get hit a couple times, but she kept fighting until her mobile suit could not fight anymore.

During the resumed engagement for the ZAFT fortress Jachin and the now revealed GENESIS cannon, Valletta Manages to take down a GuAIZ and two more Ginns before getting disabled by the freedom gundams spam blast. Valletta never understood why that machine had attacked her, but she was not going to take that sitting down. Valletta returns to the battle after a quick patch job and attempts to attack The Ships Alliance (TSA) and once again gets knocked out of the battle, but by the Strike Gundam this time. Valletta returned to the Alliance Fleet after the Genesis cannon blew up. Still angered that she could not avenge the death of her parents, but also saddened that she was powerless to do anything.

The following Year, Valletta continues to work as a soldier for the Atlantic Federation. Her hatred for the Coordinators lifted a bit, but her hatred for ZAFT still high in the air. After hearing the the Alliance helped CTF hunt down the remnants of Blue Cosmos and Zala Loyalists, Valletta started to wonder if the Alliance had grown soft. With the creation of the JSF after the CTF operations were successful, Valletta had put it into thought of actually joining the ranks of the JSF, but when Copeland made his Inaugural Address to the world about withdrawing the Alliance from the JSF, Valletta jumped at the thought of what to expect next. Copeland’s next few statements surprised her when Copeland announced the creation of the Special Forces group Phantom Pain. Valletta didn't think it would work out, but after hearing about their actions of the course of the next 6-8 months, she wanted to join them more than ever. She worked hard of that time span and attempted to gain the attention of any observers looking to recruit new Phantom Pain agents. Her progress paid off when a recruiting officer gave her a time and place to meet for her transfer to the Phantom Pain forces. Valletta saw this moment as an opportunity to finally get back at ZAFT for the death of her Parents and to make sure she was able to defeat them.

Valetta had just woken up from a night of stress and a couple bad dreams. She wiped her forehead, trying to get rid of the sweat the dripped from the crown of her scalp. Ever since her parents died, she always had these dreams. Were they a sign for something that was going to happen or was it a message from her family telling her that she could stop? Valetta sat there for a moment thinking about it, then looked over at the alarm clock on her nightstand. It was 8:00 in the morning and she had slept in two hours later than she normally would. She pulled the covers off of her body and sat up at the side of the bed, she got up and shut off the alrm clock. She was in a pair of sweat pants and a very light tank top that only went as low as her mid torso. The tank top was slightly wet from the sweat, but it was cleanable.

Valetta hopped in the show for about ten minutes, washing off the sweat and then getting out. She threw on her Phantom Pain uniform, but kept the top of the main dress shirt unbuttoned because she never really liked wearing it too much. She had a dark green skirt with the uniform as a personal customization, she want to atleast be somewhat different from the rest. After fixing her bed and cleaning the room a bit, she left the room and into the cool aired hallways. Mornings were always good, because the rooms often got hot enough to want to sleep on the ships outer hull. She wandered into the messhall to grab a drink of orange juice, she would normally grab a small thing of milk, but she wasn't feeling for it today. She left the messhall as quickly as she arrived and made her way to the Observation Deck behind the bridge of the ship. There was a nice windy breeze as she opened the door, too bad the ship was in port so the sight of a base made the breeze feel unwanted. "This is so not what I had in mind." Valetta said under her breath.

She walked over to the railing and looked out towards the water, the base had a nice rocky ridge to the left of the ship with the water crashing against the rocky wall. It was a nice tranqil sight to see, but it didn't detour her from think about her parent and how she was going to Destroy ZAFT. for this, she needed the power of Phantom Pain and she was going to follow the neccessary orders in order to get to her goal. "I'll Kill them All, ZAFT will pay." She muttered.
