History:
Proud son of a military commander in the Earth Alliance, Ricky Mendosa joined the alliance academy during the age of 18 to show his father that he would try and surpass him. Though that never happened, on the day of their return from the academy they were in a car accident that killed his father. A Semi bed jack knifed on a slippery road and hit the drivers side of the car, killing Ricky’s father instantly. The passenger door had popped open and threw him into the street 10 feet away. The car exploded while he was getting up and sent him another 15 feet. Rick slammed into the pavement cracking two ribs and breaking an arm. When he got out of the hospital Rick continued his academy years until he was finally assigned to the main fleet as a windam pilot. He piloted his windam first during an orbital drop over Orb. He had snuck on without Kariths permission and was scolded after the battle was over. His battle at Suez proved almost a failure after he had to steel a Gouf from the hangar of the Valiant. He then met his Rival by the name of Alex a ZAFT pilot that was almost his perfect match. Rick continued battling this guy until the his last encounter with the man over the ocean in he Duel unit. Rick never saw Alex after that and went on to fighting at panama where he was almost murdered by Vicious Raloon. Rick finally finished off in the war at final battle of CE 78.

ND 2

Another 6 years have past and no one has seen or heard from Rick since his departure from the Alliance. Rick had been traveling the world, sticking to large scale countries, taking in sites and just being a normal citizen. After the battles in the desert and the battle in space, Rick decided he would return to check up on his friends. Those who were still in the military would get a great howdy do from the man. Ones that he would make would probably get a simple hello. That is yet to be decided as he returns to the battle field as a Zaku Phantom Pilot. One of His favorite models.
