So, some of you have waited awhile for this. And I think I'm finally ready.
Something I would like to ask before I post this.
I would like to ask that if you leave a comment about it. I would like to know more about what you think, I think it really helps the writers when writeing a story. We want to know if it's worth continueing with.
I just thought I would make my feelings known.

~Introduction~
Could This Be Love

“I’m home!” Kaili Carlton said as she placed her car keys on the stand by the door. She made her way upstairs and into her room. “Laiyah?” She asked down the hall for her sister before entering her room. “Wow, no one’s home. I get this place all to my lonely self!” She spoke softly. It was mid-day now and Kaili waited patiently by the phone for her boyfriend Billy to call, he called everyday at around the same time so she knew exactly when to wait.
Finally her phone rang “Hello!” she answered knowing who it was. “Hey cutie! How are you!?” Billy asked with a huge smile upon his face. “I’m wonderful now that you’ve called!” she laughed. Suddenly the door bell rung and it made her jump, “Oh! Someone’s here! she said.
“Who is it?” he asked in a wondering tone. “I don’t know I’ll go see.” “Ok” he said.
Kaili kept the phone to her ear and hurried downstairs to the door. Before she opened it, she placed the phone to her shoulder and turned the knob. Never in her life had she expected what happened next.







Chapter 1

“BILLY!“ Kaili screamed. In complete shock she dropped her phone. Practically jumping into his open arms, “What are you doing here?!“ She asked in excitement, and looked down at his luggage. “Oh my gosh! Your STAYING!“ she said with even more excitement. “That I am!“ He said with a grin and carried her inside the foyer. He carefully let her down, “I knew you all were coming to visit in a week and so I thought I’d come visit and go back with you.“ He explained. “I’m so excited you don’t even know!“ She said laying a gentle kiss on his lips. “I came for that too, by the way!“ He said when she finished. “Oh you’ll be getting plenty of that!“ She winked. “Here, Jeffrey will get your bags, come with me.“ she grabbed Billy’s hand and led him into the kitchen. “You want the grand tour?“ She asked with a laugh. “Yeah! Man, this place is huge!“ He said as he glanced around. “I love it. Wait till you see my room!“ She laughed. “I’m sure I’ll be jealous. Of the size of course“ He smirked. Kaili laughed and led him around the house, “So, did my parents and Laiyah know about any of this?“ she asked. “Haha yup! They knew everything, well at least your Mom and Dad, I don’t know about Laiyah. Where are they anyway?“
“I don’t know, I got home not too long before you called me, and no one was here. They did a pretty darn good job keeping this a secret.“ She laughed. “That’s good! It makes me happy when my requests are carried out successfully“ He smiled. Kaili laughed, “We can go up to my room and chat until everyone gets’ home, then we can go have dinner.“ She said heading upstairs. “Okay sounds good to me.” They sat down on the sofa in her room. It was definitely a teen room, It had all the cool furnishings she enjoyed from her favorite place, Pottery Barn Teen. “Girl you are spoiled rotten, but yet the best girlfriend a boy could have.“ He reached over for her hand and kissed it. “Aww. Your adorable.“ She smiled. “I try my very best.“ He winked and scooted closer to her. Kaili smiled, this had been the best day of her life, it could only get better. She flipped on her flat screen TV. They both jumped when they heard a knock on the door “I’ll get it…“ Kaili said as she got up and walked to her door. Laiyah stood at the opened door, when she saw Billy she hollered “Mom! Dad! Kaili has a boy in her room!!!“ “Oh Laiyah shut up! We were watching Sponge bob! Good grief.“ “Wait, Billy?!“ Laiyah asked once she got a better look. Billy looked at Kaili and said “Guess, she didn’t know I was coming!“ Kaili laughed, “Yes, that’s Billy! Is Mom and Dad home?“ she asked. “Yeah, their down stairs why?“ Laiyah wondered. “Uh, We’re hungry!“ Kaili said smartly. “Oh, right. Sorry.” Laiyah said and walked off.

Chapter 2
~Excitement~


Kaili glanced back at Billy with a wide smile and waved her hand as she walked out the door. Billy quickly stood up and rushed out of the room to follow her. He was afraid that if he lost her, he wouldn’t know where to go. This house was so big he knew for a fact he’d get lost without someone to follow around. He looked in awe at all there was to see in the house, the décor was amazing. He looked ahead as he caught Kaili looking back at him. He smiled gently and reached forward to take hold of her hand. “I still can’t believe how big this place is.” He laughed. “Yeah me either. I still get lost sometimes. Mainly when it’s really dark in here and I can’t see where I’m going.” She replied she loved her new house, and most everyone that came by loved it too. However, just because she had a big house now, didn’t mean she had changed. No Kaili was the same girl she’d always been her parents were just richer than before.

As they got down stairs Kaili put on the biggest smile she thought possible when she saw her parents. “How did you keep this…” she held up their hands and looked at Billy before she continued, “A secret!?!” She asked and then began laughing. “It wasn’t too hard.” Her dad smirked and grinned as he looked at Billy “Welcome Son.” He greeted with a nod of his head as he always did. “Hello Billy! It’s so good to see you!” Greeted Mrs. Carlton as she hurried around the island counter to give Billy a big hug, she had missed having him around. “Laiyah please set the table.” Mrs. Carlton asked as she looked at her daughter whom was standing by the doorway of the kitchen. The older Laiyah got though the more rebellious she seemed to get as well. Mrs. Carlton didn’t like the attitude too much, when Laiyah didn’t move her face got stern and she looked at her husband Craig.

“Laiyah, mind your mother now. Set the table.” Mr. Carlton ordered. Billy chuckled silently, that order was enough to make anyone want to mind just by the stern look on his face. He watched as Laiyah stomped over to the cupboard and pulled down five plates for each of them. “So Billy how are your parents doing these days? I haven’t had a chance to call them.” Moriah asked. Billy smiled, “Their doing great, staying busy. But they are enjoying it.” Billy’s parents were great people, very kind, and always wanting to help out wherever they were needed. They loved seeing the success of their son and they were so proud of him. “That’s good to hear, how’s the biz going for you?” She asked. “Good! Working on some new stuff, which I’m really excited about! It’s a long process that’s for sure.” He said smiling widely as he looked at Kaili who he could tell was just as excited for him.

“Oh I bet! Long and tiring I’m sure!” Moriah said. “How does corn chowder and garlic bread sound for lunch kids?” She asked, hoping they were okay with that. She had been gone most of the day and hadn’t had a chance to think about what to fix. “Sounds great to me!” Billy chimed, he was starving. The flight had taken almost all morning, he hadn’t had a chance to stop and get anything to eat. “Great! Same here Mom!” Kaili replied. “Alright, it should be done soon.” Moriah told them and stepped aside to prepare lunch. Kaili looked up at Billy and smiled, “Lets go finish SpongeBob while we wait” She said as she grabbed his hand and tugged him along as she headed back upstairs. They walked back into her room and went back to the couch. “I’m so glad you’re here!” She said happily. She almost couldn’t contain her excitement.” It was going to be one awesome week for her now!
