Why?:

• blood - Somewhat like the young woman Aria, a blood would make quite an interesting pair to her. Even though she may have the life of possibly being controlled by the blood dragon, she will more than likely build up a tolerance of rebelling even against her own dragon. Should the pair get along, though, still with the blood wanting control over her being, the two may make quite an interesting pair, especially if the two should have an arguement and Aria gets a little overboard and begins yelling at a wall or something with other people around..
• black - With a black, Aria may as well still be the same person, if not becoming just a wee bit irked at having such an introverted dragon. None-the-less, she may be quite like everything of the black if nothing else. Though they may be withdrawn from the weyrlife, it may be of good, or bad, for Aria. If she should be with a black, that would give her more time to be alone and think, of course, with none other than with the black where she can contemplate with his or hers opinion occasionally brought in.
• dawn - A dawn might make Aria seems much more pleasant of mind up to the part when they start to become jealous of them not having her attention. But in such a case, at least she wouldn't be much of a threat, even though she wouldn't be to begin with, and may find it quite enjoyable to see how many times she can get the dawn to get upset with her lack of attention. Of course, she would neer do anything to intentionally cause the dragon to do harm to him or herself.
• desert - Because a desert is not one to oppose going against the rules, Aria may be kept somewhat in line should she choose to get a bit rebellious and/or mischevious. Also, since the deserts have a calm persona, one could be of help to Aria when she is feeling frustrated and needs someone who will cool her down through sensible words.

Appearence:

The first thing noticed apart from Aria being a short being is that she has the lightest of blue eyes that is sometimes covered with strands of dark brown bangs slanted toward an angle. Her hair, in contrast to such light colored eyes, is about shoulder length, layered and shagged, and to a not to dark, but more like a medium dark brown color. In an overall complexion of Aria, she is tanned to a medium brown, though not overly toward medium if anything. More like a light-medium tanned skin. Aria is not exactly flawless as many young women would hope to be, but she bears some blemishes across the back of both shoulders as with a multitude of small scars from accidents that never healed right when she was a 'brat. A very few amount of freckles adourn her face across her nose and spreading to her checkbones.

Going further into Aria's height, she is not exactly the tallest person, and her size can easily be overlooked(literally) by other people. She takes nothing for granted about her height which is of a grand stretch of five feet two inches. Being 'vertically challenged' is of no concern to the often-mistaken-as-a-little-'brat, Aria.

Apart from standing at such a small height, the young woman Aria can still be distinguished as a woman and not a child. She fills out just as any young woman should, but she is somewhat shy of making herself stand out as one. Usually because of her shyness about herself, she wears clothes that are just a touch bigger than herself to hide away with her womanly curves. The most fitting wear that Aria wears is the usual kind of worn shirt and britches and wher hide boots. The only exception of stepping away from such 'childish wear' is when she is preparig to go to a Gather. In which case Aria wears the most fitting apparal that defines her quite well.


Personality:

For sure, Aria has a plenthora of personas pulled into one small being. She is a mixture of practically everything, and there is really not one dominating trait about her unless you count her being frustrated and pretty much all that icky negative stuff that clings toward all those people who are rarely ever happy in their life. Granted, even if this was her most dominating persona, she does not neglect the showing the ability to laugh, or show her true colors in taking command of something, but that happens quite rarely.

With her negative side probably being the most dominating trait, Aria is really not all that bad. Sure, her bite can be worse than her bark, but that is only because she doesn't know how to exactly take in some things at times. Because of this, she can easily be frustrated at herself, or temporarily at another being, until it either cools down or boils over into complete anger--which her boiling over doesn't occur often, but it is well known that if she goes off she usually has no idea of what's going on. Sometimes, however, she can be quite sadistic. More so this occurs when she's just not feeling herself or she just needs to find a way to get amused at something. But she knows that this is not a good approach o finding happiness, but there comes a time when things like that doesn't really matter.

Very often, though possibly not as often as her negative side, Aria enjoys being happy if she can help it. She enjoys laughing until she cries and sharing a good joke with a few good friends, but sometimes it's hard for her to know what it feels like to be happy. Sometimes the reason of her not showing the softer and fun side of her is because she can sometimes feel a bit unsecure of herself because she is afraid that other folks her age would think that she wasn't the age she really was, which beings out her insecurity of herself.
When she starts to feel insecure, Aria then begins to get into her negative mood and she stays like that until she either does something about it, or just doesn't bother about it at all, which puts her into a bad mood for the rest of the day and even so, into the next day as well.

For sure about Aria, however, is that once you gain her trust, she is devoted. Very rarely will she ever turn her back against a very close person, and she would gladly take the punishment for another if she is able to be quick-witted enough to find a more believeable reason as to why she should take it instead of the other person. No matter what rank one person may be in her friendship status, all depends on her loyalty to that person. For some, she would go between for, but others, she would take the chore duties. Again, it all depends on where one stands on her friendship status.

History:

Born quite a ways from Misuri Weyr, Aria is the second child of two simple cotholders that tried to get the best out of life for their two children. Even though her father didn't have much, and he practically raised Aria and her brother without the help of her mother, who died from a heart failure, Aria and her brother enjoyed life to its fullest and helping out their father as much as they can.

When days turned to months, and those months to turns, Aria became the woman she is so far today, with the exception that her brother is elsewhere and her father is still barely hanging on. Shortly after the death of her father, news was sent to her brother who showed up as soon as he could, a searchrider appeared and had asked if Aria would like to go to Misuri Weyr for a chance of Impressing a dragon. Even though she was quite relunctant at first, her brother reasoned with her that it would probably be for the best because he wouldn't know what else he could do to help her along since he ws just starting to make a living for just one.

It is now that Aria resides in Misuri Weyr, keeping a great deal of her history a mystery to a good deal of the weyrfolks. She is enjoying some of the weyrlife, however, but she is unsure of how most of them will react to having such a small candidate stand in their hatching sands where the dragonets may kill her just by tackling her if given enough force behind the tackle.
