Do you know what? im alright at drawing, but, everyone that knows me thinks im so "awesome" at drawing, and i only draw for fun damnit! they than want me to draw them pictures
but then this is when it gets wierd... the only kind of drawing that i do is manga/chibi, i only do little practices and 3 people crowd, and then say "awh! thets well good" thats only half of what i can actually do... i started drawing stick figures, and copying out drawing books when i was 10, than i got into the idae of manga, but i wasnt very good, but then a few years later my skill had improved, i started drawing normal people,a year later, My brother started drawing chibi, so i thought it looked cool, so i started chibi aswell.
thats how i became sort of good at drawing happy.gif

this may seem completely irrelevant, but this is my fist forum ive joined to... sadface.gif

Ummzz, I started out drawing bubbles, cats, and stick figures when I was two. I've been seriously drawing ever since I can remember! Always trying to get better. ^^ And yet I stink. ;o

I just draw the proportions I see, I've never been able to use the head thing. But I do use the basic start with a circle for the head thing...and I use lines soooometimes for body positions, which I suck terribly at if it's not straight forward or turned slightly. ;[

I have a method for drawing girls, though. I draw an hourglass shape, and add the bewbz later. ;D

Well, in my beginning drawing class, I've discovered I have two main drawing methods.

The first is the "analysis" method. It takes ages to do, but I can get levels of detail that are pretty decent. And I do mean ages. I tried it to draw another student in our drawing class. I had about an hour to work, and I got her hair and a little over half of her glasses and an eye. Looked damn realistic though.

The other is the "foggy" method. I picked this up when we started on mass drawing. The level of detail is much lower, and the entire drawing has a look not unlike smoke, but I can get the entire subject, at least.

It's not perfect, but it's my style.

I wish I had enough time to sit down and draw, without the interruption of anything else. blahblahblah. I'll do it... someday.

I'm not good at drawing. I am good at simple things. Animals objects and what-not. but, when it comes down to drawing people and perspectives, I just suck.
I'm sure I'll tackle those two problems someday.

I wish my art teacher was a bit more critical. You can draw like a 1 year old, and it looks obviously like crap...and she'll say "OH, it's beautiful!"

I'm starting to get pissed, because I can't learn anything in her class. DX
