Sitting in the dark had to be the most boring thing in the world in Selket's opinion. But after the way the meeting last night had ended she couldn't imagine that anyone would ever want to talk to her again. She was misunderstood by so many gods she couldn't even name them all anymore!

At least the cinema had films. They could have used films in Ancient Egypt! At least it would have been something for her to do, since she had had so much time off in those days. She could have stayed in the hospital and worked, but Selket needed a break. Even performing one's specialty got dull after a while. She had decided on a movie and bought her tickets and was standing in line for some popcorn and a medium soda when suddenly she unintentionally bumped into someone.
