Nexus Generations
Nexus Hall is a school of magic steeped deeply in rich cultures and vibrant histories. Well over 500 years old, Nexus Hall is one of the best schools of magic in the . However, it was not always the calm scene that it is today. Riddled with constant fighting between elves and vampires, Nexus Hall always set the stage for a bloody, gruesome and violent battle, the most recent of which caused the school to crumbling down to a sudden close for fifty years.
It was a bloody final battle, the teachers and upper level students fighting valiantly against invading vampires, who were targeting elves, and invading elves, who were targeting vampires. After half a century, the wars fizzled out, with very few teachers and students remaining, and the general elf and vampire population decreased dramatically.
The rebuilding efforts began after the last remaining full blooded vampire and elf leaders were exiled to Drenthax, forced to live in the magical dimension until they felt mature enough to live in harmony with other races without beginning another massacre. Their exile is now over, and there has been peace, but more than likely, it won't last...
New teachers were hired, most of the staff body comprising of students who had graduated from Nexus Hall in the past, (some of these canons are available) took staff positions.
Nexus Hall is now the same V-shaped boarding school it was decades ago. It now houses the children of the children that went there themselves.
Now their children are there…New powers, new people and new problems. How will they last?

Current Plot Arc:
Edaroya Tome, hailing from a land of magic that hardly anyone has heard of, has reached the gates of Nexus Hall, taking over as the new Headmistress of the prestigious institution as well as the head of Student Council. As is the case of human nature, some people like her, and others don’t. Several teachers have openly expressed the severe distaste that they have for her, so much that the threat of getting fired is imminent and they don’t even care. Prefects have also been threatened with debadging as a result of their own “unprefectly” opinions of Tome. As for the rest of the student population? It’s going into a downward spiral, with hexes and curses flying off Nexus’ stone walls, hoping to hit the newcomer (and rival house members as well).
TAT (Teachers Against Tome) has been formed in secret, meeting every so often in a secluded area of campus with enough charms to keep Tome away and unaware of their plottings. Their plan? It’s extraordinarily simple. Tome knows spells forbidden to every witch and wizard in the world, and she uses them as punishment for those students she especially hates. All the TAT members have to do is get a representative from the Bureau of Magical Inappropriacies and Affairs to catch her in the act at the same time she uses one of her forbidden spells.
The prefects are up to their eyes in duties in duplicate and triplicate, trying to get through to those students who think they are doing the school a favour by vandalizing it with derogatory remarks and images and whatever else they can come up with concerning the new Head by any means necessary. Some prefects, however, don’t blame the newly formed student resistance and don’t punish them when they see them doing something against Tome.
And the final group, the rebel students, a resistance, led by a few upper school (6th and 7th year) students of all four houses, also play a role in this. They want Tome to get out by any means and are incredibly determined to do so. Death threats fly in to anywhere that Tome is by the hundreds and many spells (unsuccessful and successful alike) ricochet off the walls anytime she makes an appearance. Of course, some make the mark, some don’t, and some are executed so badly that it doesn’t even make a difference. Though Tome’s spells are far more lethal than a gifted seventh year Black Magic user, the anonymous spells hit other things such as desks (blowing them up), walls (scorching them), and of course, the innocent bystanders, which has resulted in the death of a student. The student’s death has been kept so quiet that most of Nexus doesn’t know, as teachers frantically work their necromantic powers to retrieve the person lost to the hands of students who supposedly knew better.
