Strengths: Alyssa takes a direct approach to life to and others are drawn to her sincerity, friendliness, and optimism. She'll be honest about everything, and I do mean everything. It's never said to be mean, and she genuinely doesn't mean to insult or hurt anyone. She blurts out her shockingly direct speech in total innocence. The truth is the truth after all, she doesn't understand the damage it could cause.
At heart, Alyssa is an idealist. She’ll shoot for the moon with confidence without so much as a second thought. It’s not in her nature to look back into the past. She lives in the present – the here and now. She’ll dream of the future but it’s too far away for her to be concerned about it. But even with that carelessness, her enthusiasm and frankness will get her far in life.
The hufflepuff is versatile; she can multitask with an ease that other girls would be envious to have. It's a useful skill to have in life, and Alyssa often functions best if she has more than one thing to do. With a natural talent for doing two or more things at once, it could come in handy in the future, such as when she needs to hold two jobs simultaneously.
Weaknesses: It’s easy to see that she’s a brutally honest girl, and it often does get her into trouble at times. It’s not that she does it on purpose – it’s just that Alyssa often speaks before she thinks of the consequences. Whatever is on her mind is instantly on her lips. Her scrupulous honesty can be enduring at times.
Alyssa has little tolerance for jobs, relationships, or situations that make her feel tied down. And that results in a tendency to be irresponsible. Procrastination is a problem she often has to deal with. She’ll refuse to accept the seriousness of life, and she’ll never be happy to be burdened by responsibilities.
She is naïve and some people are so cruel as to take advantage of her sincere kindness. Her heart is more vulnerable than she realizes at times. She’ll feel pain when she falls off her broom, or trip over an object, but it’s nothing compared to a wounded heart. Her optimism is a double-edged sword and it shows very clearly.
Alyssa can also overexcessively attempt risky dangers. She's been to the hospital wing for numerous broken bones, bruises, and illnesses. Nothing short of death can keep Alyssa from doing dangerous stunts like swimming in the lake during winter, flying on a broom while standing, even carelesly running down the corridor (she was late for class) and tripping over her own feet. Combine her risk-taking and her clumsiness and lots of accidents are bound to occur.
Favorite Class: Alyssa’s favorite class is Care of Magical Creatures. She loves animals passionately. If she sees an injured cat lying on the grounds, she’ll tenderly carry the cat to the hospital wing, care for it until she was assured it would be fine in a few days, and find the cat's owner. With such love for animals, it’s no surprise that Alyssa excels in Care of Magical Creatures.
Hobbies/Activities: It’s no surprise that she’s involved in sports. She’s up for doing anything. Alyssa fears nothing, in fact, she’ll even be attracted to doing things that have a risk of danger such quidditch. She loves the outdoors, and she’ll plunge into a new adventure with reckless abandoned. Alyssa is drawn to speed the most – the thrill of a fast roller coaster or skydiving excites her. Alyssa enjoys nothing more than a hairbreadth escape of some kind-either physical or emotional. It exhilarates her and she'll take a chance on literally anything.

Boggart: Alyssa doesn’t quite know what she fears, but if she were to see a boggart it would take the shape of a cage, where Alyssa would be forced to live trapped in there all her life. She can’t bear containing her restless spirit, and she needs freedom. There’s nothing that she hates more than being tied down to something.
Patronus: It would make nothing less than an independent, firey horse. Alyssa grinned and squealed in delight when she performed her first correct patronus in her fifth year. If Alyssa had to pick what type of animal to be, she would immediately say horse. It describes her personality perfectly.
Personality: You can’t really sum Alyssa into a couple of paragraphs. She’s such an interesting person to talk you, if you can take her blunt honesty. Alyssa is an extrovert – she’s lively, entertaining, and optimistic. She’ll rush headlong into the unknown, her nature calls excitement. She loves the spotlight if only for the sweet sound of applause and cries of encores. Beneath the surface, Alyssa is a truly kind and optimistic soul. In many ways she is naïve and vulnerable. It’s incredibly important that she learns not to put her trust in the wrong type of people or it’ll cost her dearly. Her charisma and enthusiasm for life are qualities that make her a natural born performer. Unlike the typical Hufflepuff, Alyssa will welcome the spotlight with open arms.

Physical Description: Alyssa’s eyes are as bright and alive as the stars. People will see the enthusiasm bursting out of her. 9 out of 10 times she’ll have a big heart-warming grin on her face that people immediately love about her. There's something about her that gives her the impression that she sincerely tries to cheer you up. Alyssa is tall with a strong, sturdy body. You get the impression that she is athletic, and not very shy or meek. She'll walk with her head high and in total confidence. Her movements are very rapid, although not very graceful. She’ll often make wide, sweeping gestures that are dramatic and vigorous and accidentally knock over her goblet.

Residence: They’re constantly bouncing from place to place, and often stay in hotels for a short period before moving somewhere.
Family: Alyssa comes from a rich, social family who raised her well. Her father is a muggle rocket scientist who treats Alyssa like daddy’s little princess and has large dreams for his little girl. And Alyssa is up to the challenge, she wants to top her father one day.
Her mother is definitely unique - eccentric you might say. She's spontaneous, loving, understanding - all you would want for a mother. Sherry and Alyssa get along with ease, and at times their friendship comes before their mother-daughter relationship. Alyssa loves Sherry for her originality and they both have the same desire for personal freedom.
But before Sherry came into the picture, there was Jane Piscerious: Dad's former wife. She was a muggle and worked as an engineering coordinator. They first met in Washington, D.C. where they were both working on the same project. Alyssa wasn't born at the time, but Johnathan and Jane were married for nearly five years, according to what she heard from her father. The two couple had a lot of interests in common, everything from engineering to favorite colors to pets. But there was one sole reason they got divorced: Jane didn't want to travel, or move around. She wanted to settle down in one place, have children, grow old together. Those ideas clashed with Johnathan's go-where-the-wind-takes-me attitude and he wasn't willing to give up his job even if it demanded long work hours, and weeks working in some exotic place. He was still young in spirit and he wasn't interested in raising a family and retiring. And thus, the differences tore their relationship apart and they were divorced.
After seven more years had passed, Johnathan met Sherry at the engineering building where he worked. Sherry was applying to become an astronaut and Johnathan was part of the group who was currently working on making a rocket for NASA. That was how it began at first. Their relationship grew fast and two years later, they married in Venice, Italy while skydiving. Yeah, it certainly was not an ordinary wedding.
Alyssa was born about eight months later, unintentionally to be honest. Sherry was about to take off into space on a secret mission. She never told Alyssa what it was but she managed to get her father to reveal it had to do the Russians during the cold war back in the 50's. It was only after the mission that Sherry came back and realized she was pregnant. They weren't prepared for a child but regardless they would care for their little child. Sherry took maternity leave, while Johnathan continued to work overtime to cover for Sherry and the baby. Nine months passed, and Alyssa Locke was born in a wizardry hospital in England. The family lived in a nice comforting apartment for the first rough months. Once Sherry was back on her feet, they hired a nanny to take of Alyssa. As she grew up, she was able to travel with Johnathan and Sherry all over the world.
On Alyssa's eleventh's birthday, the letter for Hogwarts came. Johnathan had already known that Sherry and Alyssa had magical powers, she had told him after the wedding. Now that Alyssa was eleven, the family was faced with a question: should she attend Hogwarts? Naturally, they both wanted Alyssa to be educated. But they weren't willing to give up their jobs and settle down. It meant that Alyssa had to give up traveling with her parents so that she could attend Hogwarts. At first, Alyssa refused adamantly and it made matters worse that she could only take her two cats and owl into Hogwarts. It took some thinking but they solved the problem eventually. Alyssa would go to Hogwarts as planned but they would leave their pets to the care of Sophia, the nanny who took care of Alyssa when she was a new born baby. She could take care of the pets at the house she lived in. Sophia was more than willing to, she was a pet lover and had a dog herself. During the summer and school breaks, Alyssa would often visit Sophia's house before traveling with her parents.
Pets: Lots. Alyssa has two cats and an owl that she brought to Hogwarts. At home, she has a dog, fish, rabbit, and a hamster. All of them well-treated and loved.
Any prior schooling? Her mother taught her the basic essentials of magic before Alyssa attended Hogwarts.
Life before Hogwarts: Alyssa loves her family, and her pets. She wished that her home life would be exactly like Hogwarts but it’s very different. As much as she loves Hogwarts, she prefers her life at home where she was free to venture out into the city and play with her pets, and learn – all without being stuck in one place for an entire year. With her father being a prominent rocket scientist, it often gave Alyssa chance to travel and see new places which is something she can’t do at Hogwarts.

For your strengths, I’ve read them and I love what you’ve written but I think if would be more appropriate in the Personality section. What is she good at? Can she get people to agree with her? Does she know how to talk to people? We need to have something’s that she does well. I love what you’ve written, I just think it might be in the wrong place.
Your weaknesses look great. I don’t see anything wrong, unless you want to add more? Which could only help.
For your likes/dislikes, Could you add some more to both? This is where we know what makes your character tick. What you’ve got is great. And I think she will be a great Hufflepuff.
If you wanted to combine some of what you said in the strengths section, it would only make what you’ve written better. You might want to continue expanding on what you have here.

Okay, jumping down to the family. Are her parents still together? Or was the divorce and marriage only to Sherry?
In your bio you stated they move from place to place, Why? Is someone after them? We need to know. And if they do move around, how does she own so many pets? Where do they stay?
Life Before Hogwarts, this needs to be expanded immensely. This will tell us where your character has been and what all effected her, and made her the way she is.
What the application needs now, is for you to expand in the places I’ve stated above.
