Spring Festival
Hogwarts and Hogsmead will be hosting a Spring Festival for both students and adults. There will be competitions, such as dueling and broom racing, and entertainment, such as an art show, concerts, and exhibits. Shop owners from all over Great Britain will be invited to set up booths, and sell their wares. The final night will also host a pageant which will name the Spring Queen. It is a time for everyone to come out and enjoy themselves. Who knows? With a little luck, you might just walk away from the Festival having made a name for yourself.

Contest Rules
All contests will be decided by the admins based upon the characters, and the quality of the writing used during the contest. In the dueling and racing competitions, there are no definites. That means there are no pronounced auto hits, nor is there stating how far ahead you are, unless you plan on having yourself fall back before the end of the race. With dueling, after sign ups, we will set a bracket with who plays who in each round. The broom race will be all competitors at once. The talent show will be based on creativity. Make it interesting, well written, and plausible. For the Pageant, contestants will need to pick out a formal gown, and post the pic in their first post of the pageant. There will also be a question that you need to answer. Then we will use a poll to decide the winner based on the dress, the answer, and general post quality. The winner of each contest will win a special prize.

<span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'>Quidditch Match
Along with the Spring Festival, I was hoping to have a big quidditch match. Since there isn't a house with a full team yet, I was thinking an all-star game of sorts, where we would simply divide all the quidditch players into two teams...or even draft the teams if a couple of captains were to volunteer. Just a thought. If you would be willing to compete, and you are on one of the House teams, post here and I will add you to the available player list. If you want to volunteer to Captain a team, say so as well.
