Forbidden Forest
To the east of Hogwarts castle is a large, dark forest. This forest is strictly off limits to Hogwarts students, except in the course of occasional Care of Magical Creatures lessons or detentions.

Quidditch Pitch
The school has its own Quidditch pitch where each house's Quidditch teams practice and play games against each other. Each year will see a total of six inter-house matches, along with numerous training sessions by each house team.

Greenhouses
A quite large network glass houses full of plants. Herbology is also taught here.

All of the school's owls are kept here. You can come mail letters or wait for one to arrive.

The Lake
The lake located to the south of the castle, which stands on a cliff overlooking the water. It is about a half mile in diameter.

The Lawns
There is a wide flat lawn opposite the castle from the forest and it lead down toward the forest and border the lake. Flying lessons are also taught here.
