You will find papers scattered over a neatly arranged desk. Neatly arranged? How can that be? Lily makes sure that any decorations she put there are in order and not covered by any papers she needs to grade. Though, with the papers on her desk, it would appear she was disorganized, when in reality, they were perfectly organized.
The room was brightly lit with candles of different scents, almost making one think of a candle shop. She was always fond of sweet scents, and so there were rose scents, sweet pea scents, even candy scented candles. The drapes on the windows were always open, to make the room even more brighter.
A cupboard in the corner of her office was opened, revealing different types of treats and snacks that she handed out freely when a student visited her. Even if you were there for punishment, you weren't treated like a prisoner, so expect to be offered a treat.
Three trunks were neatly in a row to the left of the room. All three containing her personal belongings, though they were nearly empty. Most of her things were thrown on the floor near them.
Her dog Kip-Kip was usually found sleeping on the rug near the fireplace, or up and about trying to find ways to have Lily pay attention to him. She couldn't leave her furry child at home, so she had brought him to Hogwarts with her.
If anyone really knew Lily, they knew that she kept her door open to everyone. There was no time in the day or night when it was closed. She felt it was more welcoming that way.
