a world claimed and remade, by the entity known as Samael Mephistopheles Loki...

Loki's world is divided into 2 'Layers': the Surface Layer, and the Dream Layer
the Surface Layer is an ordinary, every day world, little different from the 'real' world...
the Dream Layer is a nightmarish parody of the Surface layer, filled with dangers and horrors, forever on the border between day and night...
but it is only in the Dream Layer where one can reveal their 'true self'....

in both Layers, the world is circled by three glowing moons of crimson, azure, and amber, each moon ruled by a goddess, also creations of Loki

Moons, Elements, and Goddesses

each of the 3 moons rules over 1/3 of the world, and each moon is ruled by a Goddess, who also rules over 2 of the 6 elements


-Hecate the Wicked
Rules over the Crimson Moon, Fire, and Shadow
she appears as a little girl, with pointed ears, red eye, raven hair tipped with blood red, styled in twin tails
her true form is a black demonic creature with horns, wings, and a spade tip tail
her emblem is a demonic orange eye, and her servant is Shin the HellBeast


-Selene the Mist
Rules over the Azure Moon, Air, and Water
slender and fair skinned, with long white hair
her true form is a humanoid squid with pure white skin
her emblem is a white star, and her servant is WiseMan


-Luna the Fury
Rules over the Amber Moon, Earth, and Lightning
tall and lean with a wild golden mane of hair, a generous bust, and stripes covering her body
her true form is a golden were-liger*
her emblem is a yellow cat's eye, and her servant is a Draycanthrope (a dragon/lycan cross)

Terms and Concepts


Layer
-a layer is similar to an alternate reality: it occupies the same space, at the same time, but is completely separate from other layers within the same space...


Surface Layer
-the 'real' world, where everything is as one would expect it to be


Dream Layer (not to be confused with the dream world)
-a twisted, nightmarish reflection of the Surface Layer, with monsters and other horrors, as well as twisted parodies of the persons which inhabit the Surface Layer
according to Loki, it represents the manifest collective unconscious
only the chosen few who possess a 'Seed' can enter this Layer..


Seed
-a collection of repressed thoughts and desires within the mind, which becomes another self, a hidden self.. those with Seeds are able to see the 'truth' of Loki's world: the Dream Layer, where they can reveal their 'True Form'


True Form
-a body that represents one's repressed inner nature, often the darker side
all of one's special powers and abilities stem from this form
one can only assume one's True Form within the Dream Layer
