Personality: Calraith is a cruel, merciless individual. He cares little for the feelings of others. In fact, he rarely even considers other people, except in terms of how he can use them for his own gain. He despises other Overlords and revels in the chance to kill one of them. He takes pleasure in causing pain and misery, thinking of it as giving back to a world that has forsaken him. He is fueled by rage and the need for vengeance, though he has little idea as to who was behind the betrayal of his family. He suffers from a lust for power that stems from his hunger for revenge. He often challenges powerful individuals in the hopes of gaining a portion of their strength by taking their life. However, despite being quick to anger, he is calculating and coniving, using his mind as much as his blade when dealing with his enemies.

Appearance: Calraith is slightly above average height at around 6' and weighs around 160lbs. He is thin, but muscular and well toned with a body built for speed and grace rather than overpowering strength. His hair is a dark blue, almost black, and is cut to shoulder length and worn in a messy ponytail. His eyes are the same dark blue, though a thin crimson ring circles the irises. He can generally be found wearing a tight crimson shirt with a black cross design bisecting the shirt and stretching to each shoulder. He wears tight black jeans and a pair of black boots. At his waist, attacked to his black leather belt, is a prototype whip-sword that he designed himself. Over his ensemble, he generally wears a long, black leather trench coat.

Weapons:

Chaos Blade ~ Calraith’s prototype whip-sword, the Chaos Blade is a series of jet black shards of steel connected by a length of metallic fiber. The blade can be used in its whip form or, with a quick snap of his wrist that connects each piece, as a normal sword.

Energy Sword ~ Much like Elizair, Calraith has mastered the art of materializing his mana into a sword of pure energy. The blade takes the form of a crimson length of energy in roughly the shape of a sword. Calraith uses this sword when he no longer has access to his Chaos Blade.

Background: Calraith is Elizair’s older brother. Cal had always been at odds with his family, finding his father’s noble ideals to be foolish and for the weak. They were demons after all. Why could they not simply take what they wanted and slaughter anyone who got in their way? He felt his father was weak at heart, as was the rest of his family, but they were of his blood and he cherished them for what they were and wished no harm against them. Cal was away during the final years of the Corsar reign. He was traveling through other Netherworlds, fighting other Overlords and gaining a profound knowledge of battle and the horrors of war. He loved every minute of it. During his absence, he had left Elizair in charge of aiding his father in battle. He knew it had been a mistake from the start, but he had no choice. He knew that Elizair was weak at heart, much like their father. He knew that Elizair would not be able to do what needed to be done in order to protect their home. He heard about the attack on his families’ Netherworld during a battle in a far off Netherworld. He ran off to his father’s side, though he was far too late. His mother and father had been slain, their Netherworld in tatters as Overlords fought over the scraps. Elizair was nowhere to be found, having run off to Sanctuary with the last of his father’s vassals. Enraged, Calraith slaughtered several of the squabbling Overlords, but he was not powerful enough to defeat them all and was forced to retreat while his homeland was torn apart by the remaining demons. Now Calraith wanders the Netherworlds, biding his time until he can complete his revenge. However, his time alone has hardened his heart even toward his own brother, the last of his family. He feels that Elizair is a failure and a coward, unfit to dwell in Sanctuary. His coldness has grown to a deep hatred and he would kill Elizair if he had the chance.

Netherworld:

Chaos Sanctuary ~ After usurping Elizair, Calraith altered Sanctuary to fit his own personality. The unending grasslands have been set aflame as mountains erupted from the earth to ring the land. Most of the Netherworld is now a fiery mountain-scape with volcanoes that erupt almost constantly and rivers of lava that bisect the land. The volcanic landscape forms a massive ring that encircles a dark, lush forest. The interior of the forest is cast in perpetual darkness and is home to all manner of strange, mysterious creatures. Calraith had a small village built within the trees of the forest and within it he houses his more grotesque minions. The forest itself forms a ring around a large clearing within which sits a simple village of medieval design. The village is home to the rest of Calraith’s minions, those that he doesn’t trust to be within the castle with him. Just beyond the village is Castle Corsar, though its design has been altered slightly. It has a far more gothic feel with demonic statues and flying buttresses. Within the Castle dwells Calraith himself with his most trusted minions. The castle is currently equipped with a throne room and a dungeon aside from your basic living quarters, though Calraith plans on expanding it once he has conquered the lands of a few more Overlords.

Starting Units: As per my discussions with Aim, Cal starts with all of Eli's units.

Custom Attack: Chains of Blood ~ Calraith raises his hand and bolts of crimson energy emerge from his palm to pierce a single target. The bolts form a chain that binds Calraith to his victim, draining their life force with a numbing cold while replenishing Cal’s own. (20 Ice DMG, 10 Heal)

Blood Vulcan - Calraith fires a series of energy blasts from the palm of his hand. The blasts deal significant damage and weaken whomever is struck. (Deals 40 Ice DMG, Inflicts Weak status)
