Welcome
The Year was 2012, it was a normal December night, but suddenly there was a huge light that was seen around the world. Everything fell apart quickly after society fell. It was three years before the Committee for Better Living was formed. This Committee set up a system of monarchies, an illusion of control for the people. It is now 2054, and the next generation of royals are in high school. Welcome to High School, Your Majesty! Enjoy your stay!

Sublime. That was the name of this club. It had a VIP section that seperated the royals from the commoners. Something that didn't quite settle well with Octavious. Heck his best friend happened to be one of the palace servants children. He was used to getting along with everyone but he more than knew his place in the scheme of things. His duty came before his own personal wants. It's a sacrifice he had accepted with diginity and grace. And while it might irk him slightly about the special treatment he got, he wasn't about to ruffle any feathers. He was a peaceful soul for the most part when he knew no true wrongs were being commited. It was just peoples indifference and sadly enough he knew he was guilty of that sin as much as he didn't want to admit it.
A hand ran through his wavy blonde locks as he leaned farther back into his booth and just let the pulsing beat of the music soak down into him. Lids fell closed over blue eyes before a hand rose up and ran over his face. A heavy sigh left him. Really he was supposed to be here having fun. What fun was just sitting here and moping over class seperation? There was no fun, absolutely none. Blue eyes opened once more and fell to rest on the empty beer that was atop his table. He was supposed to be relaxing and having fun. So why wasn't he? Now that was the million dollar question. Might as well go get himself another beer. He pushed up from the plush velvet seat, dress shoes carrying him across the floor and to the private bar in the VIP section.
A hand rose up and reached for the bright blue Jill Sander tie about his neck. With a sideways tug and pull or two he had it loosened and then nimble fingers opened up the first button of his collar letting it hang open. Feeling slightly less formal even if he was still in a Bikkemberg's pinstripe suit. On his right wrist was the Hauer watch that had been his birthday present from his mother, on the same hand he wore the family crest ring, something he rarely if ever took off. Reaching the bar he leaned against it and nodded to the tender. "Oi, Tender." He flashed a friendly enough smile to bloke. "I need me a scotch if you please." He pulled his wallet from the inside of his jacket. His eyes fell on the lady at the end of the bar. She was pretty, blonde. He nodded to the tender. "Put her drink on my tab." Sure not the best way in the world to flirt but a gentleman could buy a lady a drink without any strings involved, right?
The tender took the money from him and slid the glass of scotch before the young man. Sure they should be carding these kids but really. If they were going to do it, they were going to do it. They were royals after all. The tender moved on down the bar to where the young woman was. "So what can I get you miss, your bill is already covered by the gentleman down the bar." At which he glanced back and gestured to Octavious who was taking a sip of his scotch. WORD COUNT 564 WEARING CLICK THIS

Maddy was a little more old fashion when it came to the way she dressed. she put on a dress that resembled a dress from the 20's with a modern touch. she had designed it herself actually. the perks of being a royal went far. there was almost nothing royals couldn't do. under age drinking for one was something pretty much everyone did. Maddy didnt always enjoy drinking as much as her friends but she continued to drink and party. she wanted to be like her mother. Her mother was a party hard, die young kind of person. Maddy admired her so. Her mother was beautiful and smart and fun to be around. Maddy wanted to be like that too. Of course Maddy took after her father more than she'd admit. she enjoyed reading and stimulated conversations just like her father. but she tried her best to be like her mother. On the other hand Maddy loved to get all dressed up and go out to the clubs with her friends. the thing she liked most was the way she felt all dressed up. she felt beautiful. she felt like she caught the attention of everyone at the club. she loved being the center of attention. well she only liked it because her mother was always the center of attention. She looked like her mom which was always a good thing because in Maddy's opinion her mother was the most beautiful person she knew. She went to Sublime, the closest club to her house. she was too meet up with a few friends but she got there way too early. she did that on purpose because she really couldnt handle her friends while sober. her friends were the annoying preppy all that kind of girls and when she was drunk she was just like them. she didnt mean to be like them but she had to be like them to be like her mother. As Maddy got to the bar she went straight to the bar and she just sat down waiting for the bartenders attention and when the bartender finally came over to her some guy at the other end of the bar had already bought her a drink. she smiled at the guy who paid for her drink and waved in a flirty way. she ordered an absolute lemonade which was vodka, almond liquor, a sour mix and a Sprite mixed together. it wasnt very good but at the moment thats what she wanted. after the bartender mixed her drink she picked it up and went to sit by the gentleman who bought it for her. "Thank you so much for the drink." she said with a flirty smile and touching his arm slightly. OOC: outfit (:

He caught the wave by the blonde and gave a warm smile to her, nodding his head. He was more than delighted to buy a lovely young woman a drink. Sure perhaps a little formal of a way to break the ice but he was so used to being formal. Letting loose just wasn't always his thing, especially not when in public. He was always smart about being presentable and in a right state of mind. Mostly incase there were any paparazzi about, he didn't want to upset his mothers or disappoint them. One could say he was in a near constant state of being on duty because of that little fact. Perhaps if he didn't learn a better way to manage himself the stress would get to him and he might end up facing a nervous breakdown in his later years. He liked her smile though, it was warm and friendly and his lips curled upward gently into a soft one of his own. Not overly flirty himself but enough to show that he was open and intrested in her company.
Blue eyes watched her, taking in her attire which was a lovely little dress. Not revealing which he liked. Too many young women flashed all their goods for the world to see and he found it distasteful. Sure showing a little skin was appreciated even accepted but it needed to be done in a classy way. This young woman, she did just that. She was dressed rather classy and elegantly. His smile only grew as she got closer to him. He rose from his own stool as she came over and took her own. It was just ettiqute to him to do such. He felt her hand rest on his arm, feeling the warmth through the sleeve of his suit jacket. "Thank you so much for the drink."
Once she sat down he took his own once more, his smile brightened, reaching up into those blue eyes and seeming to make them sparkle with mirth. "You are very welcome, Ma'am. It's my pleasure." Sure he sounded a little cheesy but it was just how his mothers raised him to be. Always respectful of women and others in general unless given a reason to not respect someone. "Might I enquire upon the name of the lovely lady who has decided to grace me with her company?" Sounding ever proper even when trying to just be casual and respectful of his lovely companion at the same time. Oh he was doomed wasn't he? She was surely going to consider him a right stick in the mud, at least he figured as much. WORD COUNT 445 WEARING CLICK THIS

Maddy actually liked how formal this guy acted. To her it was quite refreshing. Most royals wouldnt have gotten up as she walked over. she liked classy guys. Of course she hasnt found one until now but that wasnt the point. she wanted the formal prince charming not the party king, she thought as she looked around the club for a second and saw someone she had once spent the night with dancing. she mentally rolled her eyes and gave the lovely gentleman in front of her, her undivided attention.
In a way she thought finding someone as formal as the gentleman in front of her was impossible. she always hoped but never thought that she would. she wasnt sure why she wanted a classy guy. They are the ones her friends called bores and tossers and wankers. basically a stick in the mud but she was different. she was always different. she was a fan of classy. she loved the era of the 20's... in America at least. she didnt really know anything else. she was a lot like her father that way. he kept their home back in Hungary, very Victorian and elegant. she loved it there and she tries to go home ever so often but never gets to because of school and stuff.
she smiled and stuck her hand out for a hand shake, "My name is Madeline... most people call me Maddy though." she was very picky when it came to spelling her nickname. she thought Maddy was prettier when spelled with a 'Y' than with an 'ie' or anything else. she thought that the 'y' is what made it pretty. when she wrote it down she would curl the end of the 'y' to make it a bit girlier. she smiled at the guy while waiting for him to take her hand. he was cute. the curly dirty blond hair and his cute brown eyes... Maddy was a sucker for brown eyes. she couldnt help but smile.
