Welcome
The Year was 2012, it was a normal December night, but suddenly there was a huge light that was seen around the world. Everything fell apart quickly after society fell. It was three years before the Committee for Better Living was formed. This Committee set up a system of monarchies, an illusion of control for the people. It is now 2054, and the next generation of royals are in high school. Welcome to High School, Your Majesty! Enjoy your stay!

Terry had been getting bored. She was losing her brother to god knows where... She knew Marco was gay now but seriously... he could probably spare some time for his poor twin sister. She was left alone by Toni and her other siblings which she didnt mind so much considering they were all pretty boring anyway. they were too wrapped up in their own world. all her friends were losing their spark. all the wanted to do was shop or walk around and stare at all the royal boys. sure that was interesting but where was the challenge?! she liked to force her friends to flirt with some of the guys that they see. of course they end up dating that guy so then she is left as a third wheel. Terry always refused to date. she wanted to wait to be engaged to some first in line prince so she could finally be queen. she spoke to her father about possibly being able to pick one out but he was no help. she finally just decided to find one on her own. Going to school more she has picked a few guys that could possibly be good to be queen with. she didnt care about what kind of person they were or anything. She just wanted a guy that was first in line for a powerful country. A prince that was easy to seduce would also be good. whats the point of being married if you didnt get some whenever you wanted? She flirted with a few but waved them off because they were deadly boring. Most of the good countries were either taken or are in a relationship which made it hard to seduce them. Terry found out about a school dance and she knew that was the perfect thing to get her plans to be queen rolling. She spent about an hour letting her maids and house staff getting her ready. She let Marco have the final say. since he was gay, he knew best. She was actually satisfied with how she looked. she might not be one to voice her insecurities but they were there. Luckily her servants knew how to make her look her best. She kissed her Brother's cheek as she left for the school... on a saturday night. she wasnt happy about having to go there on a day off let alone at night but she was willing to do anything to be queen. She walked into the double doors of the foyer. She smiled as she looked around for a certain guy in particular. She had heard things about him that made her think that he could be the one. She found him over by the giant staircase in the middle. She smirked and made her way to him. OCC: Outfit for the dance~

Robin had spent most the Saturday at the weekend house, just in the backyard, reading romance novels among other literary works. It had been a nice day and he didn't feel like spending the day indoors. That, and, spending all day indoors was a bit depressing. Even if things had become nicer between him and his siblings, it's not like they were all usually together to be able to enjoy it. Lina usually spent the weekends over at her fiancee's, the Grecian, weekend house, so it's not like she was around much to be able to enjoy the formerly lost and re-found warmth that accompanied her engagement. Warren was God knows where now-a-days. So his weekends were spent alone at the house. He supposed he could actually go out for once, but he liked being home in case one of them came home for some reason. It wasn't likely, but a guy could wish, couldn't he?
He got a phone call from a friend. A dance? Later that night? He supposed so, seeing as how the likeliness of either of his siblings coming home to spend time with him were extremely low. He waited until sunset to begin preparing himself. He showered and dressed simply: a nice button up shirt, a tie, slacks, and dress shoes. He allowed his maids to fix his hair since he was planning on just leaving the house with it wet. He had half a thought to call either one of them just for the sake of not going by himself.
Robin ended up driving himself to the school before walking into the foyer. Him being who he was, he was immediately flocked to by girls and guys alike -- wanting to be his best friend, his boyfriend, his girlfriend. He turned them all away politely. He just wasn't interested in a bunch of people who couldn't even approach him alone, but had to move with a group and hope they would get picked. He stood at the grand staircase in the foyer. He was about to leave when he was approached by a girl on her own. He recognized her. Princess Teresa Hernandez of Mexico. He had seen her a couple times when his family went to Mexico for royal business. He didn't know she attended the Academy, though. "Princess Teresa. A pleasure to see you," he told her with a slight bow and a kiss on her hand, customary of a male greeting in standards of royalty. He wasn't about to let thirteen years of manners training go to waste. "How are you enjoying the dance?"

Robin smiled at her apology. It wasn't a problem if she was a bit off. He was always praised on being an excellent dancer, so he was able to pick up the slack. He held her close as they spun around the gazebo. He wondered how they looked like to an outsider's perspective. Probably like how a royal couple should look like. The idea made him smile. "Well, for someone out of practice, I must say that you are doing excellently," he said while twirling her before pulling her back to him. He was happy they left the stuffiness of the foyer and grand hall. It was nicer just being out there alone, under the stars. Very romantic. Very much to Robin's taste. He was a sucker for romantic moments, and jumped at them whenever he got a chance. The moment was just so perfect. It was so picturesque that he had to remind himself he wasn't in a movie.
The song ended and a much slower one began to play. He slowed them to match the much slower tempo of the song. She looked lovely in the twinkling lights that hung from the gazebo. Robin felt that a kiss would be appropriate at that moment, but resisted. That wasn't something a well-bred crown prince did after only a couple dances. He had a reputation as one of the most well mannered princes on campus to uphold. That could wait until later. He had every intention of pursuing a relationship with Teresa.
He heard his name being called and turned his head to see his friends calling his attention. He held up a finger to them, signalling that he would be there in a moment. Robin turned his attention back to Teresa, a gentle smile on his face. "I should go inside with my friends, since it was them that talked me into coming. Unless you'd rather I'd stay out here with you," he told her. Robin half-wished she would ask him to stay, or at least let him escort her to the inside of the foyer.

Robin looked down at Teresa. He didn't wan to leave her side. He was having a good time with her. A much better time than he first thought he would have when he got there. Nah, he wouldn't leave. His friends could go in by themselves and try to pick up all the pretty girls. He was perfectly fine out where he was with her, dancing under the moon light. He looked back at his friends, waving them off. They just looked at him confused and slightly disappointed, but walked inside on their own. He smiled at her again, moving them back into another waltz as a new song started. He was having a one-sided fairytale romance. The prince and princess, dancing under the moonlight, away from the crowds and chaperones. Just the two of them, and the twinkling lights that surrounded the gazebo. He wouldn't leave her. He didn't want their time together to end.
He dipped her gently, looking into her eyes. God, she was beautiful. He kept his eyes trained on hers as he pulled her back up. He could get lost in her hazel eyes. Before he could stop himself, he was kissing her. Her lips were sweet and addicting. And like that, he was hooked. And he wasn't going to let go. He broke the kiss, his breaths just a bit shallow. "My apologies," he said, holding her still as close as possible to him.

Robin smiled at her, dancing her into another waltz. Even if Teresa didn't mind it, it was a lapse in good manners. He was usually more in control of his actions than that. Since he would be king after a year or two in college, he had to be in control of all his actions. Plus, if there was anything the Cipriano's prided themselves on, it was having children who actually acted like royals. Or at least the eldest of the two did most of the time in public. As Crown Prince, especially, it was his duty and obligation to hold up this image. He wondered if his family would think that Teresa would fit the bill for their expectations. He would probably have to introduce her to Lina at some point, since he actually saw her at least every now-and-then, and her reaction would be a good enough interpretation of what their parents' reaction would be. He had to. He was falling for her fast.
They danced many more dances that night. Robin was on cloud nine from thinking he had found the one. He heard the clock strike twelve, and the dance was coming to and end. He twirled Teresa once more before stopping their dance. "It's seems the night's festivities are coming to an end," he said with a sigh. He moved a strand that had fallen in her face out of her eyes, placing a hand softly on her cheek. He didn't want to leave, but he had to. He was going to have a busy day tomorrow. He had a press conference to attend, and a video meeting with his father to talk about matters of importance pertaining to the throne, as well as a scheduled brunch with hopefully both his siblings just to catch up. "I have a very busy day tomorrow, but would you mind if I called you once I got a free moment?"
