He was seeing Xia for a few minutes, also stealing a majority of her snacks. He held them in his shirt, because it was too much for his hands to carry. No matter how embarrassing it may be, it was convenient, and it made carrying items much more easier. The boy was trying to make it back to his dorm as quickly as possible, because at any moment; Hsu or Hyun could call, and they would take another hour out of his alone time. As he moved quietly along the hall, he tripped over something that he couldn't see. All of the snacks flying into the air, and the soda cans rolling across the floor. He fell over onto the floor, making a loud thud. Which is kind of ironic, seeing that Kin is an extremely quiet person. “Oh . . no . . !” He yelled, sort of. The lazy Asian reached out for soda can before it rolled down the hallway, but it was too quick, and it rolled down the hall as he had expected. Kin let out a sigh, and started to get up.Standing straight up, he'd stretch, and look then look down at the floor; seeing the mess that he had created. Those soft food pastries were probably ruined, and the soda was probably undrinkable. ----- He didn't care, though. “. . . Kat was excited for school to start. she was at the point where not going to school was boring. outside of school all she did was work. not that she didnt enjoy working at the hospital and helping sick people as much as she can... she did enjoy that. she enjoyed making people feel better. but even she needed a break. she was tired of those plain white walls and the sickly coughs of the patients. she needed time for herself. she missed her friends that she didnt see over the summer. she missed the classes that were so boring but at the same time so useful.

she had just finished unpacking. she laid on her bed feeling accomplished. her roommate allowed her to decorate because... well they were already friends and between the two of them Kat was a better decorator. she loved to decorate. she was just so girly and pranced around the room with loud music on while she hung things on the walls and made the beds and put things away. that was her thing.. she was loud and just out there. she wasnt the kind of person that was afraid to show who she was.

she sighed loudly. she was bored now. she had finished and had nothing left to do. she smiled and got up and decided to go meet her new roommates. she knew a lot of people around school and she was curious as to who got rooms near hers. she loved living around nice people. She stood up and put her sweater on and walked out the door.

as she closed the door behind her she saw an asian boy fall and drop some stuff. as a soda can rolled up to her she smiled and picked it up. she walked with a little skip down the hall over to the boy she didnt recognize. "Is this yours?" she asked with a friendly smile as she handed him the can.

He reached his hand for the soda can, not even listening to the words that came from her mouth. Although, in his ear, he heard noise coming from her, so she had to be saying something. Even though they had just met, he didn't want her to think he wasn't listening, and he was just focused on eating. Which he was. “I'm good today, how about you?” Wasn't the right answer, but he said it anyway. It was probably would have been embarrassing if he had realized his mistake. His mind was hoping that this didn't turn into anything awkward, because then he'd be talking about it with Hsu at the next family meeting, or maybe even sooner. Now, the boy stood on one knee, with a bewildered smile; waiting for the first chance to dart down the hall way and go back to his dorm. Though, that would be strange. . Kat smiled at the boy on the ground. he didnt exactly say what she was expecting. was he hard of hearing? she thought he was funny. cute... but funny. funny was a good thing though. Since she loved meeting new people she decided to keep it from getting awkward. she didnt even know his name nor has she ever seen him around school before. was he new at the school? if he was she wouldnt be more than happy to show him around the campus. she was just that social... all the time. she loved talking and she loved making people feel better and stuff.

"I'm fantastic!" she said with her usual big smile and general happiness. she was so up-beat that it was basically sickening. "Are you new to the Academy?" she asked curiously. she wanted a reason to get out of the dorm rooms. he reasoning for showing him around school were completely selfish.
