Machinist I-

A large aerospace manufacturing and repair services facility located in San Diego, CA has an immediate opening for an experienced CNC Machinist I.

This is a direct hire opportunity with signing bonus of $1,500. Competitive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, company-paid life insurance; short and long term disability insurance and vacation. Company also offers a match of 50% on the first 6% you contribute to your 401 K.

Major job duties include:

-Lays out metal
-Performs minor set ups
Operates entry level chemical, manual and/or CNC multi-axis machining centers and tools
-Loads and unloads etch fixtures
-Performs quality checks
-Records daily operations

Essential job requirements:

-Experience with precision measuring equipment, gauges and hand tools
-Experience on machining of various metallic and composite materials
-Ability to read blueprints
-Uses intermediate shop mathematics
-Must be willing to work in a repetitive production environment

Candidates should be shift flexible. Standard work week is M-F. Occasional overtime may be required.

Machinist II: $12.60-$19.50/hr

Machinist III: $14-$23/hr
