Turret/Punch Press, Vista, CA 2nd and 3rd shift positions We offer a shift pay differential for working 2nd or 3rd Hours 1st Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm 2nd Shift: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm 3rd Shift: 10:30 pm - 7:00 am Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Must be at least 18 years of age to operate equipment. Set up skills are not required, but preferred. Experience with Amada equipment a plus. Must have a minimum of 2 years turret/punch press experience in a sheet metal environment. Thourough understanding of flat pattern layout. Be able to read and comprehend blueprints and instructions. Ability to use inspection tools. Must have good math skills. Must be able to problem solve. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Must be reliable, energetic, and motivated with a positive attitude and good work ethic. Physical Conditions/Requirements Work mostly in a controlled indoor environment with some exposures to the elements. Occasional Routine deadlines; usually sufficient lead time; variance in work volume seasonal and predictable; priorities can be anticipated; some interruptions are present; involves occasional exposure to demands and pressures from persons other than immediate supervisor. Job frequently requires standing, kneeling, stooping, and forward bending for extended periods of time and handling objects with hands. Job occasionally requires walking, reaching, talking, hearing, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and or electronically.
