Insource MachineWorks is ready to expand beyond a one-person shop, but not quite ready for two full-time people.
IMW hopes to find a responsible machinist to fill in when there is work, then to become the main machinist when there is enough work, and perhaps even become the lead machinist when there is enough work for more machinists. Are you the type of person who feels that you can find a better way to do things? If so, you will feel at home at IMW. Must have, or be willing to develop good habits, to continuously learn and to take responsibility for your work. We currently have a newer Haas VF3 mill. IMW likes to pay well, and the pay will depend on how much value you can add to the shop- $16/hr for an operator who can do setups and make adjustments as needed, and $21/hr for a machinist to do everything...take a drawing, make the plan for the tools, fixtures, materials, etc., then program and run the job. You can also get a commission if you bring in new customers. We can grow together and create a great shop environment that is enjoyable as well as productive. Our goal is to be the most efficient machine shop possible. The hours can be flexible to fit your work or school schedule.
