(858) 513-7874 ______________________________________________________________________ We are a fast paced sheet metal and machine job shop that works in both the aerospace and commercial industries. We are currently looking for candidates to come on board in our production engineering department to work in a support role of our manufacturing floor. Job duties will include: Writing work instructions (shop routers) for the production department to follow Reading and applying correct specifications to parts, both military and customer supplied Creating and/or editing internal drawings to support our manufacturing department The qualifications we are looking for are listed below. You must meet at least 2 of the qualifications to be considered for this position. - 2 years of Solid Works experience – Both desigining and creating detail drawings - 5 years of metal fabrication experience – aerospace preferred - 2 years of CNC programming experience – either punch or mill programming - BS degree in either Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering - Experience with ERP systems – Global Shop or PorfitFAB experience preferred This is an entry to mid-level position that we are willing to train prospective team members in the areas that they are not fully up to speed in. Pay will depend on the level of experience. Time Frame: Long term and on-going project Suggested tools and/or methods: Various CAD softwares such as Solidworks, MasterCam, Catia, etc… Use ERP system to create manufacturing and inspection plans. Candidate Qualifications: Complete advanced level of mechanical drafting courses, experience with CAD software, able to interpret mechanical blueprints, understand GD&T specifications.
