Position # 1 CNC Programmer - Qty 2 - This is the Mira Mesa area of town- Paying form $15 an hour to $20 an hour


Summary:



Ultimate Staffing has an opening in the engineering department of our client that support production, quality and tooling. The primary responsibility of a CNC Programmer is to design, build and program trim fixtures for the 3 axis CNC routers.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.



1. Must be an accomplished CNC programmer

2. Understand both vacuum and pressure forming tooling design

3. Be able understand and follow the design intent behind trim fixtures

4. Build jigs and fixtures as determined by engineering, quality or production

5. Responsible for good housekeeping practices

6. Perform other duties as may be periodically assigned



Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.



1. Minimum of 5 years CNC programming

2. Good communication, writing skills

3. Ability read blue prints

4. Ability to use CAD / CAM software





Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC programming. Addition, CNC specific training and accreditation are a plus.







Position# 2 - CNC Machinist, Class A, Mill - Qty 4 - 5 - This is in the Sorrento Mesa Area - Paying up to $20 an hour (might pay more for the right person)



Primary duty is to set-up, verify, and operate 3rd and 4th axis CNC mills to machine complex parts to customer requirements.



1. Must meet the following requirements:

a. Minimum 8 years CNC job shop experience.

b. Must work to close tolerances in a high volume environment.

c. Must be proficient with complicated blueprints and advanced job shop mathematical calculations.

d. Familiar with CNC programming codes and able to perform complex set-ups for prototype and production runs.

e. Must be able to follow written instructions and to work with no supervision.

f. Must be familiar with cutting tool feeds and speeds.

g. Understanding of true position tolerancing and Cartesian coordinate systems.

h. Requires frequent bending, reaching and lifting of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.



2. Responsibilities will include:

a. Set-up of 3rd and 4th axis mills including calibration of cutting tools and location of work offsets for single and multiple part production.

b. Verification of CNC programs and, when required, operation of mills.

c. Completion of all applicable paperwork (working to ISO 9000 standards).

d. Performance of dimensional and visual inspections for first piece and in-process manufacturing.

e. Cleanliness of the work area and proper handling of tools, equipment, and stock to prevent damage or loss.



3. Other responsibilities may include:

a. Assist in training other machinists or in supervising machine operators.

b. Related detail work including de-burring, modification, re-work and assembly, as needed.

c. Perform other duties as requested. May require training in hazardous material handling depending on job assignment.



Position # 3 - CNC Machinist, Class A, Lathe - Qty 4 - 5 - This position is in the Sorrento Mesa Area - Paying $15 - $17 an hour
