My brother and I shall form a band, and it shall henceforth be called Monkey Paw (or maybe "Monkey Pa" with an umlaut “..” thing over the "a," but if I remember my German, that doesn't give you the "aw" sound)...so never mind, "Monkey Paw" it shall be, and our first album shall be called "Smell The Paw," our second "Charger" (with a black stallion on the cover rearing back and shooting lightning bolts out of its angrily flared nostrils), our third "Cranium on Linoleum," and our forth and final album (before we sellout and sell our hit single "My Cheese Dream" to Kraft Macaroni and Cheese commercials) "Three Days in Kentucky" featuring a techno-rock-disco-blues fusion cover of Dueling Banjos.

And Monkey Paw shall release:
Smell The Paw as our first single (formerly known as 'Oblivion' oddly enough, no relation to our new member ).
Although it needs lyrics, and a chorus, and drums, and a real guitar player, and it was hastily recorded on my crappy PDA, and at 6 min is a bit tedious, although there are some different chord changes around 2 1/2 min and 5 min.

Whats goin on folks.

Im the songwriter/guitar/vocalist for 8th Street After Dark. If you are thinking "Hmm, thats a line from Vampires of New York, isn't it?" then, yes, you are quite correct. I write some folky kinda ballads, some semi experimental grunge/post-grunge rock, and then some very experimental instrumentals. The stuff on the MySpace was recorded in my bedroom on a single SM57, so the quality is very low. Also, these are some of my older songs, but anyways. Enjoy them if you will.

My new band website is under construction, so I'll post when it's ready.

p.s.- I own all the forum titles...yeah baby!!!
