-Personality: Draiken is a solitary person, preferring to entertain himself with a book rather than netbattles. He will however battle when challenged, just for the sake of it. Draiken loves to sit in a tree on a nice sunny day with a book, along with helping out in the community involving nature (like picking up trash, etc.). Despite his mother's protests towards his lack of friends, Draiken tells her that the only friend he needs is his NetNavi Avian.EXE. Draiken tends to be angry towards people who bother him for any reason (even if the intention is good). He would try to apologize afterwards and walk away. Draiken tries hard to be nice, but his solitary nature prevents him from having a lot of friends. His slight bitterness tends to act as an aura against others (more info in History). For the most part, he will mind his own business unless something intrigues him enough.

-History: Draiken was born in normal neighborhood, although most of his childhood consisted of playing in the garden and watching bugs crawl on the ground, rather than playing with the rest of the neighborhood kids. His constant visits to the garden made them stay away; who wanted to play with a kid that liked bugs rather than playing with others? His mother constantly worried about him, but Draiken adamantly said that he wasn't alone because the bugs were his friends. Draiken loved climbing trees and sitting in them, watching clouds go by and feeling the wind against his face.

His father was barely at home due to his job involving traveling to different continents entirely. Draiken's lack of a relationship with his father increased his level of solitarity, unable to learn how to be social towards other people since he never hung out with anybody. Every year, his father would send him an email to his computer congratulating him on his birthday. Draiken appreciated the effort, but it still hurt him inside to know that he barely knows anything about his father, while the other students were able to brag about their parents. Draiken grew bitter towards this fact and continuously read books in trees.

On Draiken's 13th birthday, he received a PET, but it wasn't used often. He had no friends to email, and he wasn't one to surf the Internet. He kept it concealed from his classmates to prevent them from challenging him to NetBattles with his generic Navi. Most of the students attempted to befriend him, but Draiken shrugged them off in his bad moods. A year later, his father sent him data for a NetNavi for Draiken's birthday, with the note "I wish I could reverse time and spend more time with you, but I can't. You have a right to hate me for leaving you alone like this, but your mother felt that you needed someone to confide into. This NetNavi was programmed to be your friend and intended as a weak apology for my actions. Please don't refuse him like you do with everyone else. -Your father". For a week, Draiken took no notice of the data file, trying to get through his life without more complications.

His curiousity overcame his stubbornness and he transferred the data into his PET. Avian.EXE came to life and became fast friends with Draiken. Avian.EXE had a program that allowed him to configure some of his data to accomodate with Draiken's interests, such as with books and nature. The bond between them grew strong as conversations were brought up that both understood. Draiken trained him for NetBattling, just in case. He quit concealing his PET and accepted all challenges brought to him, although most were interrupted with time issues against his opponent.

Now all Draiken's mother complains about is that he spends too much time with Avian.EXE and in trees.

-Description: Draiken is thin, with dark brown eyes and long black hair that tends to get in his eyes a lot. He likes to wear a cloak while he is outside rather than a jacket, just because he feels that it is cooler than a jacket. Most of the time, Draiken can be seen with a blank smile, whether it is while he's looking out the window during class or while he's daydreaming in a tree. His eyes, when looked at closely, appears to have something deeper in it than most people usually notice.

-Personality: Avian.EXE enjoys all of Draiken's interests due to his data accomodation. He likes to joke around a lot, mainly to get laughs out of Draiken, who he feels is too serious. He has no problem with being used for research, although it is often Avian.EXE who does personal research to intrigue his NetOp. In NetBattles, Avian.EXE loves to take on jerks who think they can pick on either him or Draiken, thus his cocky grin. Avian's favorite thing to do is wake Draiken up, either from sleep or daydreaming in class, with a recorded buzzing sound that gives you that tiny, irritated/ticklish feeling on your skin around Draiken's ear. The bothersome sound helps keep Draiken alert, mostly from getting detention for not paying attention one time too often.

-History: Avian.EXE was created and programmed by Draiken's father to become Draiken's friend, due to constant complaints from Draiken's mother about his social life (or rather, a lack of a social life). After giving Draiken a PET, his father worked for a year to complete Avian.EXE, giving up time on his job to dedicate himself with this task. Draiken's father also worked on adding a program that allows the Navi to change certain interest features to help understand his/her NetOp. Avian.EXE was completed in time for Draiken's 14th birthday, along with a note containing an apology from Draiken's father, who admits that it is a weak apology. Avian.EXE's data file was ignored for a week until Draiken stopped himself from going crazy with curiousity by opening the file and downloading it. Their first year together involved nature conversations along with a tinge of jealousy between them; Draiken wanting to fly and Avian.EXE wanting to actually feel the wind.

-Description: Avian.EXE has a tall, slim body with light-green armor around his body. His hands are human-like, with the exception of feathers the same color as his armor on the back of them; his feet are a light amber with black talons. His wings have a feathered-metallic sheen about them, the inside a blue-white, to represent the sky. His bird head, complete with beak, for a helmet, Avian.EXE has dark eyes and a competitive gleam in his eyes in NetBattles, along with a cocky grin. His armor is smooth and streamlined, convenient for getting to places fast on the Net.

Primary Weapon
+Feather Shot: What appears to be a disc shooter forms from the feathers on the back of Avian.EXE's hands. Aiming the shooter, he fires multiple metal feathers at the target (similar to the FalzarBeastOut buster in MMBN6Falz). The feathers are thin and act like arrows, although the thin razor edge may cut a Navi if the feather doesn't miss completely. The feathers are the same color as his armor.

+Wind Blade: A long feather-like sword extends from the disc shooter, the same color as his armor. Used for close combat.

Storm Blade: The Wind Blade extends from his arm for extra uses. Feathers are found in the ridges and are released with a slash. The properties of the feathers depend on the Storm Blade form used.

+Feather Gale: At close combat, Avian slashes out with his arm, cutting the opponent with his blade while sending forth a blast of air to send the Navi backwards. From the ridges in the blade, ten feathers fire out, which may wound his opponent severely at point blank. At long range, the feathers still fire out; just at multiple targets.
=Ranks: Sword (primary): 4 Ranks, Feathers: 1/10

+Lightning Gale: The blade forms the same way, this time with electricity sparking around it. His helmet falls in front of his eyes, giving him binocular vision (nicknamed Eagle Sight). In close range, the slash would still send the enemy backwards with the added effect of being electrocuted. The five (rather than ten) feathers spin while projecting through the air with their own natural electric charge, the spinning increasing the charge. As with the long range abilities of the previous attack, the feathers can hit multiple enemies, although the accuracy is increased slightly with Avian's Eagle Sight.

Blade Blast - Rank 4 Sword (PRIMARY) attack, and divided Rank 1 Feathers (each feather does 1/10 a Rank).

If you get +1 Attack on your Navi, only the Primary attack will increase in damage. However, An increase based on Subtype affect whichever they would affect. Wind Bonuses would increase both. EX: If your Navi have +1 Swords, +1 Wind, +1 Projectile, and +1 Attack, you would do Rank 8 Sword, and Rank 3 Feathers.



Lightning Gale - Rank 4 Sword (PRIMARY) attack, and divided Rank 1/2 Feathers

As above, without the Feathers getting Ranks from Wind bonuses, instead getting from Electric Bonuses.

Also, the Rank of the Feathers incerases by 1/2 each half of a turn they spend building up a charge, for a maximum of +2 Ranks. However, a Water attack would absorb the charge. if one were to strike the feathers.



Now you've got a choice. Both Speical Moves will have a 'Cooldown'. They cannot be used until enough turns have passed. The first turn is counted for the count.

Now, With a cooldown of 3..

Combine Both into 1 Special Move slot and rely on the Same Cooldown Timer. If you use one, neither can be used until the Timer is reset.

Okay, I understood the cooldown and the suggestion and editted accordingly. (For the cooldown, I still have a 3-turn average, just in a 2-4 form.)

As for the rank jargon, you completely lost me. Would you (or someone) mind explaining that again in different words? I get a general gist, but I'd feel better if I understood this rank system.

Well, what I said just applies to your moves specifically.

I don't want your special Moves there getting more that 1 Rank haphazardly from attack boosts...

Basically, by default, if your Navi gains +1 Attack, your Speical Move would be powered up by 2 Ranks. Both Your Sword slash, and your Feathers.

Instead, it only gives +1 to the Sword slash part of the move.

However, If you somehow get +1 to Projectile attacks, it would still increase the power of the Feathers.

And, for the first Special Move, if you do get +1 to Wind Attacks, you would gain 2 Ranks. 1 in your Sword and 1 in your Feathers.

Added a Notes section under my Special Moves concerning the ranks boosts for future reference.

And your going to need to pick a level 1 abillity for the Wind frame. You can only pick one every time you level up the frame. Your going to need to talk to Reiken about the CombatFrame system, I honestly don't know that much about it.

Interesting you ask because the admin of the first MMBN site I submitted Avian to asked the same question.

No, Avian.EXE is not based off of Elemental Hero Avian although the description is similar.

Well, you can go ahead and post your Profile up in the Profile section. I think your pretty much done. I'll leave this topic up for Reiken to look at it when he finds the time to get on. I'll get up a one star mission for you later today so you can get the feel of the Roleplaying around here. You can take one of Little reds missions if you don't feel like waiting, but those are going to be much harder then the one I will be submitting but will have a much better reward if you can complete it.

Just one question first.

Do all Navis start with a set HP and use upgrade items to increase it, or is that given to us as well?

You start with 200 Hitpoints. You can increase your Hitpoints with HPMemory programs. You can buy HPMemory programs, but they will get rather expensive if you keep buying them.

Also, how much free MB do I have?

(Based on the math, I feel like I might have gone over for some reason.)

You need to pick a cooldown for your Moves, I believe. You have a total of 950 MB which is alot.
