The Seaside Kitty

[Tasogare Reiken]

Scenic Seaside Town, a small city built next to the ocean with a great view and many tourist attractions. Kosav arrived by LevBus, coming out to a busy street filled with people and cars. Not too far away was the giant Whale shaped aquarium filled with tourists looking at the strange and exotic sea creatures in the tanks. The directions indicate that Kosav is to find the client, an old lady, at the fountain just outside of the aquarium.

[Koal]

"I can't believe We're going to go searching for a cat for some old lady........"

"Relax Kosav....... Remember.... We're only doing this for a reward......"

"Regardless of what you say, I'm still going to feel like a fool and I'm pretty sure your going to be the laughing stock of your entire organization."

Kosav's PET let out a small surge of electricity, shocking him a bit.

"I highly doubt that Kosav. And if I hear that again and I'll shock you again." Logar replied Angrily.

Kosav reached the aquarium and saw an old lady waiting by the fountain outside of the aquarium.

Kosav walked up to the old lady.

"Are you Ji Xang?"

Ji Xang: "Why yes I am, you are Kosav? Well well, you seem like a nice young boy, coming here to help find my lost cat, Muffins. I'm afraid she ran off when I was out shopping, and hasn't come back yet. She likes to eat fish, and enjoys strawberries. Here is her picture... She can't have gone far, so could you get her for me?"

[Koal]

Kosav took the picture out of the old lady's hand, took a good look at the picture of the cat then let out a sigh.

"Logar, locate all the nearest fish markets, grocery stores and farmers markets.."

"As you wish Kosav."

Kosav hands the cats picture back to the old lady.

"I will return back here once I have found your cat Ma'am.

Kosav waited for a response from Logar.

Logar displayed a map showing many places nearby that have/sell fish. Namely, there are several Food Stands around the Parklike area that Kosav stands in, a Restaurant not too far down the street, and, of course, the giant aquarium. Areas beyond a reasonable limit are currently not displayed.

[Koal]

"Hmmm...... First lets go checking inside the aquarium. Thats our most likely bet.

Kosav walked thwords the entrance of the aquarium.

"Lets just hope for one of those cases of "Curiosity killed the cat.". The last thing we need is to comfort an old lady over the loss of her mangy feline........"

"Lets hope so.... Thats the last thing I want to do..... Hey do you remember if we have to pay to get inside the aquarium or not?"

"Thats a good question... Because I can't remember either!"

"Ugghhhh..... Well we'll just have to find out, will we?"

Kosav walked towards the Aquarium, the touristic sights holding their own regardless of the unfeeling man that walks by them. The ocean moves, children play, and historic items exist. Kosav walked down the path that leads only to the Aquarium, a path suspended above the ocean current, high tide at the moment. He came to the door and didn't hesitate to go in, going through to meet with the front desk which sells passes to go in.

Lady: "You are lucky, there is a special today, its only 300 zenny!"

((If you pay, go in and have a look around))

[Koal]

"Great... We do have to pay a fee......"

"Just pay it and quit whining...."

"Fine...... But this is the last time I am going on a request to go look for some old ladys cat..."

Kosav handed the woman the 300 zenny.

Lady: "Enjoy your visit at the Aquarium!"

Without any leads or information, what will Kosav do?

[Koal]

Kosav walks into the Aquarium, Looks around for the cat.

"Hmmmm........ See if you can find a security camera of some sort. It'll be the quickest way of finding that cat...."

"I think your right Logar...... And the sooner we can find this cat the better."

Kosav starts looking around for a security camera with an operable Jack port.

Kosav wandered around a bit, looking at the Security Cameras. While each Camera had a Jack Port, most are covered and it would take a bit of effort to get something to reach it and uncover, which would be noticed by other people, and the security guards that occasionally pop up. Not to mention that a security Guard looking at the output might notice Kosav moving such an object underneath the camera's view. In fact, as Kosav was looking at another camera, he was suddenly knocked to the ground by one large, pudgy security guard who appeared to be in a hurry...

FatGuard: "Sorry Son, didn't see you there."

[Koal]

"Its allright...."

Kosav walked away, looking around for the cat as he walked.

"Logar, I think its not going to be that easy to get into the security by just jacking into the Security camera..... there has to be another way..."

"Hmmm..... See if you can find a computer. More then likely it will link up with the security system..... From there we can move on."

"Right....... Man, when was the last time I was even in this aquarium?"

" We haven't been to this aquarium in over six years... I can barely remember the last time we were here.... But enough about the past. We have a job that needs to be done."

"Right. Lets get to it then."

Kosav began to look around for a computer that might possibly link up to the security system.

Kosav came up to the Shark tank, better to try and fail than to not try. Jacking into the computers on the exhibits is allowed, the Navi could enjoy seeing a CyberImage of the exhibit at hand. Coming up to the computer attached to the prison of the restless sharks, the computer starts blaring about sharks and there habitat, where they were found and brought into captivity, so on and so forth.

[Koal]

"Uuughhh... They really need to turn the volume on this thing down...... But, I think we might be able to find our way into the security system from here...."

"Right, Upload me onto the computer and I'll take care of the rest."

"Transmitting now......... And while your in there, try to find the volume program... This thing is louder then its supposed to be....."

"Gladly."

Logar finds himself in, well, a more technological version of the room Kosav was in. CyberSharkImages wandered the tank, and several function Programs stood on standby, their uses above them, such as the Volume Mr.Prog. Several links, corridors not present in the real world, were nearby, including one that was labeled 'Authorized Personnel Only!'
