I made the one in the picture with my Sketchup Software. The actual design came from a friend of mine on another rc forum,he showed it in one of his video tutorials.
I thought it would be nice to share the design with our club because of the accidents we have had with electric motors.

I could make some up if anybody was interested. Just cover the cost of the parts. Funny how those "little" electric planes can be dangerous j/k. They are a good idea.

I agree on both counts, nstaller! yes.gif

Any idea how much one would cost?
I'd be interested in getting one or two from you...
For when I finally go electric... thumbup.gif biggrin.gif

By the way, nstaller... Nice to know you are still around!
We have been missing several people, and you were one of them. (Also Russell and William...)

Also pleasantly surprised that ole greg is still around... What a coincidence... biggrin.gif wink.gif

I've seen those. They can come in handy! For those that don't know what it is. It disables the electric motor. You can turn on your radio and adjust all of the servos and even the throttle without the electric motor turning on...

I DID mention something like this safety device in one of my Pits Reports — and on this Forum too — after someone got whacked by a small electric biplane that suddenly and unexpectedly came to life...

Here... Let me refresh your memory...

Yep, I am still around. Probably could build one for $5.00. Thats using the standrard deans plugs, which would work fine for most applications. Why would you lump me in with Russell and William? I haven't done anything to you tongue.gif

I find that if you remove the propeller before you do any set-ups on the radio the plane won't chase you around the house!!!
