Good job, Johnny.
Those colors ought to max out the visibility real good, an important thing on the smaller machines I would think. -------------------- Alvin Reed™ - MARCMAF Admin

I think it needs a crazy jack-o-lantern face on it.

All you need to do is put one of those votive candles inside and light it!
That will make for an interesting flight. -------------------- Frits - AMA Member 403246 (since 1990)

Your LA Racer is finished, boatdriver...
I put nylon straps on (as it's supposed to be) instead of that aluminum plate and eight screws... I think those eight screw holes had something to do with weakening the wood. Look at the cracks they caused... (I know you didn't build the plane...) ![]() Looking good... -------------------- Frits - AMA Member 403246 (since 1990)

That's great Frits! It looks good and can't wait to get it back flying. Thanks so much. I put nylon straps on (as it's supposed to be) instead of that aluminum plate and eight screws... I think those eight screw holes had something to do with weakening the wood. Look at the cracks they caused... (I know you didn't build the plane...) I sort of thought that might weaken such a small piece of wood. Plus the added weight of that metal bar. Glad to get it back to stock. Thanks so much for fixing it (even though you didn't have to!!!). Looking forward to getting back in town in two weeks and flying.Looking good... -------------------- Steve Toland
