Oversized in file size and dimension picture removed. Please use the "Thumbnail for forums (1)" ImageShack code as shown in the Picture Posting Tutorial.
Jade did good on posting the picture below, just right.

You did OK for the first try, Jade. Thanks for your first picture and we will be looking forward to many more.
You and "Apezilla" finally got that thumbnail in the post, my log shows a bit of activity there. tongue.gif

General Information For All Budding Picture Posters:
Yes, picture file size and dimension are very important for a web presentation like on a forum or web site.
Over sized pictures will require much scrolling on average sized monitors to see all of picture one part at a time.
An overly large picture file size can take several minutes for surfers on dialup to download and view.

Though a thumbnail is in post, the full size picture to be downloaded is still 3648x2736 pixels dimension and 2955kb file size which is too big for the average surfer. Would require scrolling to view full size and several minutes to download for some.

Using most any graphics program, like the one that generally comes with digital camera software, will be capable of cropping and resizing pictures for optimum web presentation.
Get the size of picture down to 800-1000 pixels width would be about perfect.

Idea for easy picture resizing:

Let ImageShack do it for you.

Go directly to ImageShack - Click Here.
Browse to your picture on your computer, then follow instruction on screen shot below.
ImageShack will auto resize the picture for you when it uploads to them.

Post the thumbnail for forums (1) code as usual.
