Have started a new project with the recent purchase of a used piper cub. The plane engine mount was made for a 4-stroke engine. I'll probably use a Saito 82 4-stroke for it. Discovered that the throttle rod did not slide in and out of the tube-it took a pair of plyers to work it. Relocated a golden rod tube so now a rod will work very smooth. Sat the engine on the mount and drilled holes for the bolts. The cowl needed quite bit of work to cut out for the engine but it is finally done. If Great planes has the dummy heads for it -it would make the cub look better. This cub is not the latest arf out- it is the older one. Thursday I'll take out the old servos and replace them and install a tube for the receiver antenna. There's no provision to mount a receiver or the battery so I'll have to make something to hold them in place. There's a lot more to do on the cub so hopefully it will be ready to fly next month?

Sure...Just ask Tony F., he went about as low into the ground as you can get with an inverted Cub. CryingSmiley.gif biggrinsmiley.gif

May I suggest that possible you should replace the tank or at least consider fixing the old tank. itisok.gif
