There have been some complaints about the pylon poles being left up all of the time interfering with some flight paths. I made some retractable poles to shorten them a little. They are at the field along side the fence at the pavillon. Russell and I discussed cutting off the existing poles to a desired length, fastening them more securely, and sliding the poles I made into them. If anyone has any input or ideas I am certainly open for them. I am working this weekend but I will not be upset if someone takes these ideas or new ideas and works on this project. Otherwise I will try to come out next week to finish up.
By the way, the poles I have are smaller diameter so I thought about painting them a bright color to see them better. Maybe a flag on top??? Let me know what you think. This post has been edited by plane crazy on Sep 3 2010, 04:48 AM |
