Back in 1972, Du-Bro came out with one of the very first hobby RC helicopter kits.
I bit for it and got one, never got it to do more than bounce around a little at old GCRC "Plum Forty" flying field up on Celeste Road. Nice to see one actually flying with modern equipment and already knowing how to fly a chopper surely helps. -------------------- Alvin Reed™ - MARCMAF Admin

Is the resulting engine torque from spinning the prop driving the rotors? I have never seen that! Interesting....

Looks like it. I like the fuel tank on the main shaft incorporated into the head! -------------------- |

Yep, engine torque made rotor head spin opposite from direction small airplane propeller is spinning on very top. And if anyone is wondering how to get the throttle push rod to spinning engine, the main shaft was hollow and push rod went up through it. All metal fuel tank made for no fuel level visibility. -------------------- Alvin Reed™ - MARCMAF Admin
