To land a plane thats has fuel in the tank and lose flying time. yickes.gif I can stay flying longer by running the tank out and saves me the trouble of emptying the tank out at the end of the day.

Well...If you know that it is time to land when the tank runs dry, what purpose does the ever present egg timer serve? unsure.gif rotfl.gif

laugh.gif My question was going to be if one was so concerned about losing "flying time," why do the airplanes spend so much time in the truck and so little time in the air? biggrin.gif

Maybe tony's right. I might take a look at jets with turbines. Since the turbine has no props and as long as a person does not stick there fingers in the turbine as it is working yickes.gif a person might be safe!

Yes someday I will have a turbine powered helis. But I have an idea to have a turbine powered helis that would not cost a lot of money. I'm surprised that nobody has done it.

Well step one to owning a turbine powered heli is owning either -A- a turbine or -B- a heli. Each costs a lot of money separately, let alone together. Good luck figuring that one out. laugh.gif
