Khamuli dismounted her steed as she and Cield entered the town of Bree. The rain was pouring down, thoroughly soaking her cloak and clothes. She was shivering and sneezing. She hated the rain and the cold. She was from Harad; the warm desert in the south. She was very susceptible to sickness, but she was trying to steal some body warmth from Cield, who was now, by this time, a close friend, by walking closely with him and winding her arm around his.
"So, where will we be staying for tonight? I could care less where, but a fire would be nice." She wrung out her cloak, stepping over a homeless man who was sleeping, probably drunk. Khamuli, to be honest, wasn't the biggest fan of this area. She would have loved to see one of the perian, as they were called by Gondorians, but the rain had poured down and they had agreed to stop at the nearest area, which was this 'Bree'. She cleared her throat and looked around, craving for an ale. |

Dismounting his own horse, Cield took it by the bridle and led it through the busy city. Looking this way and that, he made sure that there wasn't any trouble currently in the town. There was usually some sort of squabble going on, so when he didn't recognize anything bad in particular he grinned in slight relief.
"Erm," he began thinking trying to remember somewhere they could go. That's when his mind was brought back immediately to the Prancing Pony. "I know a good place, an inn where we could stay for the night if you like. It's dry inside, too, so you don't have to worry about getting wet." Some times he found it interesting, how Khamuli sometimes seemed so much like an actual female, even though it was hard to imagine it other times. |

Khamuli brightened up considerably. After the weeks and months traveling around and the Orc fighting, she needed a break. She knew Cield did too, but he was just too 'macho' to admit it. How strange men were, she mused. She looked around, and yawned. She was tired and her legs ached. Yes, it was still possible after years of riding.
"Well, lead on, my friend." She gestured forward. "Oh, please, Cield." She practically begged him. Of course, she wasn't groveling. She did still have her pride and dignity. |

Grinning as he raised an eyebrow at her small, hardly emotional plea, he wondered if he wanted to bug her until she dropped to her knees. Cield decided against it, however. It was already bad enough, being wet. She didn't need to get her clothes muddy.
"Down this way," he directed through the street before he came upon the tavern that made as an inn as well with the sign above it. Tying his horse outside, he nodded towards the doors before walking in, actually pausing to hold opent he door for her. |

Khamuli tied her horse up beside Cield's and apologized to it in her native language. The horse bumped its nose against her arm and she smiled. She followed Cield into the tavern, smiling at the gesture. She couldn't help the small giggle that was quickly suppressed. But no, she didn't have any hidden feelings about him. Of -course- not. That was just silly.
"Have I ever told you how much I love fire?" She asked Cield with a grin on her face. She could feel the heat radiating off of the flames and wrung her hair out. She took her cloak off and draped it over the back of one of the chairs, surveying the crowd. Noting there were only men and hobbits, she relaxed and took her hand from her sword. No, she wasn't paranoid. |

"Yes," Cield joked as he took a seat, propping his feet onto the table leisurely before nodding to the bartender, indicating the number two before he continued with the conversation. "Every night when it's freezing out and we can't light one incase an enemy is around I have to hear you gripe about it."
Giving her a grin to show that he was teasing, he tossed four coins down as they were given two pints. "Well, you might as well drink up. It'll warm you just as much as the fire will." |

"Oh." Khamuli drawled out, narrowing her eyes at him as she sat down beside him. She didn't gripe! "If anyone was griping, it was you. 'Oh, Khamuli, its too cold! The food isn't warm enough!'." She imitated him, making her voice nasal and falsetto. She grinned and took her pint. She looked at it for a moment, before shrugging.
"Bottom's up." She gave him a wink and then took a gulp. It burned as it went down her throat, and she coughed, covering up with delicacy. She grinned. "That's pretty good." She commented, covering her mouth as she yawned. "You know... it would be lady-like of me to protest you paying... but I don't want to." She poked his ribs in jest. He was so fun to tease. |
