> Welcome to LotR Online
Hello and welcome to LotR Online!

Please join up with a real Middle Earth name, such as Linthir, Miriel, etc. Not champion08 or Edward Jacobs.

We may be having 'auditions' for Rangers and other such things soon. Keep by for more information.

Please note that we are no longer allowing people to sign up as elves! Seeing as the elves of Middle Earth were leaving--and we want to keep as respectively close to the books as possible--we are stopping people from joining up as elves and they will have to get direct permission to RP as such!

Aragorn pulled his hood up as he entered the Midgewater Marshes. He wasn't quite sure why he was there. He was very disgruntled. Flies and muck water never did his mood good. He kept a hand on his sword. You never knew when an Orc or goblin would attack you. And he was a bit paranoid. Not quite sure why.

He used his other hand to pull his cloak up around his face, so the flies couldn't attack his face. Even though he was quite used sleeping in the rain and running all day long, flies and water he couldn't deal with. He was half way to doubling back and killing the first person in sight. He was that frustrated.

Brenwian growled as she slipped, her foot becoming lodged into the marshes before she pulled it back up, sighing in relief that she had not lost her footwear. Leaning against a tree, she allowed herself to close her eyes in slight thought as she swiped her hand at the cloud of flies that were nearly attacking her face.

Through the buzzing, however, she could hear the sound of footsteps. Opening her eyes slowly, she allowed them into small slits to keep the flies at bay before she stepped out, seeing a figure not too far off. She couldn't tell the identity, however, for the face was covered.

Directing her sword towards the individual, she managed to keep herself from growling at the flies before she made her quick request. "Show yourself!"

Aragorn, because of the incessant buzzing of flies, didn't recognize the voice. He tightened his grip on his sword and faced the... whatever it was. He swiped at a cloud of flies and uncovered his face. He unsheathed his sword, not wanting to fight in such an area, but he would have no trouble, thanks for Arvedui and Cield.

"Who are you?" He asked, his eyes in small slits as well so the flies would attack his eyes. He growled lightly. If he had the choice, he would never enter Midgewater Marshes again. But it was the only way to Rivendell from Bree, unfortunately.

Covering her mouth with the sleeve of her tunic, to make certain that no flies would enter, Brenwian managed to get her response out, though she herself could hardly identify the figure.

"Although I was sure I asked you prior, I suppose names don't matter at the moment. I am Brenwian, speak now. Are you friend or foe to those foul orcs? Speak quickly," she added, her sword still before her.

Aragorn felt his insides freeze when he heard the figure's name. It was his sister! Normally, he would run to her and swing her around, but she would run him through since she didn't realize who he was. He swatted another fly away before sheathing his sword and walking slowly towards her.

"I am foe to the Orcs. I am Aragorn, Lord of the Dunadain." He replied smoothly, a small smile forming on his face. "And last I heard, you were on the verge of dying."

Brenwian almost dropped her sword, but quickly she in turn sheathed her own before hurrying to him to hug him, forgetting that she was out to kill. She couldn't have been hardly any happier at that moment. Almost...it would have been better, had Legolas been there.

"And the last I heard was that you left that night, never to return. I have missed you, my brother," she beamed, feeling happy at that moment. "I'm so sorry you all believed me to be dead."

Aragorn smiled and hugged her tightly. He had nearly lost her. His last piece of family. How could he be so stupid? He nearly started to cry, but he was a Ranger and was able to school his emotions. He pulled away slightly, looking at her up and down. She was growing into a beautiful woman and he held back vomit at the memory of what Legolas had insinuated, what he thought about Brenwian. Stupid elf....

"It was only I that thought so... the others knew. And I have missed you as well. Don't ever scare me like that again!" He ordered her with a smile. "So, how have you been?" He asked, his eyes twinkling.

"I am sorry for scaring you this time, then. And I promise I will never try to cause myself to go into a coma from an illness," Brenwian added, giving Aragorn a brilliant grin as she tried her best not to laugh from the awkwardness of it all.

Grinning, she shrugged, acting as casual as she could. "I have been fine, I guess. Although some things have been rather spectacular for me lately," she added, remembering the first moments when she had woken up and all the events since then. She knew that it was true. She loved and always would love Legolas. And he had been the light to her life the recent days.

"But these spectacular things would have nothing to do with a certain blonde elf prince." Aragorn said sarcastically. He knew of Legolas' love for her, and he could only surmise that she loved him also. There was a certain light about her that he knew all to well... it was how he was after seeing Arwen. But now, that was over. As Elrond had told him, it was just a dream.

"Wow, I must say you are a rather skilled Ranger to deduct to that. What have you exactly heard?" Brenwian asked curiously, raising an eyebrow before shaking her head. "Perhaps I truly don't want to know, for anything you have heard and know about scares me to an unbelievable depth.
