> Welcome to LotR Online
Hello and welcome to LotR Online!

Please join up with a real Middle Earth name, such as Linthir, Miriel, etc. Not champion08 or Edward Jacobs.

We may be having 'auditions' for Rangers and other such things soon. Keep by for more information.

Please note that we are no longer allowing people to sign up as elves! Seeing as the elves of Middle Earth were leaving--and we want to keep as respectively close to the books as possible--we are stopping people from joining up as elves and they will have to get direct permission to RP as such!

Brenwian groaned as she refrained herself from kicking a rock, looking towards Cield in frustration as she looked around her. "Why must we be here again?" she asked curiously. They always stayed to the outskirts of it anyways, and they hardly saw anything.

Alright, she had been there before once, but she had terrible memories of that. She had been with Arvedui then. And that...well, to say the least, had almost killed her.

Sighing, Cield shrugged as he continued walking, not even stopping to ponder upon her question. "Well, what with Saruman being a traitor and all," he began, idly sliding his unsheathed dagger along the edge of his tunic, "we have had to patrol these areas for enemies more."

His eyes darting around, Cield had to reassure himself once again that there would be no armies of orcs coming out to attack them. After all, where would they find an army? It was usually just small bands which they could destroy nearly the moment they came about.

"Well, if he's become evil, isn't it exactly like walking into a trap? How are we supposed to fight anyone in a situation like that?" Brenwian couldn't help but question. She was worried. There weren't many chances of them being able to escape something.

Spinning the ring that now sat upon her finger, she sighed in thought. Oh, how she wished Legolas was there.

"And I don't think it's a good idea to risk death like that. It's not really wise, dozens of orcs against just us two. Why aren't Arvedui and Adelina, and the others with us, anyways?"

"Brenwian, you seem to lack faith in my skills," Cield smirked slightly, looking at Brenwian and shaking his head. "It is exactly why we are going along the outskirts of Isengard rather than storming into it. I'd say it would be good to atleast get an eye on what the enemy is doing."

Looking towards the younger Ranger, he felt his eyebrows raise, catching site of the ring upon her finger. Chuckling slightly, he shook his head. "So, the elf proposed, did he? You snared yourself a prince."

"Yeah, but if you get captured and I don't, I'm not coming after you," Brenwian joked, knowing very well that she would. After all, she liked Cield a great deal more than she did Arvedui. Five years with that man had driven her near insanity. It was nice to finally be able to be on her own, or atleast patrol with another.

As he spotted her ring, however, she felt a blush form across her cheeks. She didn't like people mentioning it out of the blue, it always ended up embarrassing her terribly.

"Yes, he did. I just don't like the fact that I have to wait for him to return," she sighed slightly, although she didn't like talking to a man about the matters. "But I don't get how I got so fortunate, not that I only like him for being a prince. In fact, I like him entirely for, well, him."

"Ha, if any of us were to be tied up it would be you, be sure," Cield snorted at the prospect of it being him to be captured rather than her. It was a completely ridiculous thought. No way would he be captured before her...he would defend that fact for the rest of his life.

Grinning, however, as he heard her, he nodded. "As most women feel," he laughed, before looking towards him in wonder. "You forget, however, that you are also a princess. A princess of Gondor, and you with a prince doesn't make many wonder at that prospect at all."

"You wish," Brenwian declared, slitting her eyes at him in a mock glare as she shook her head towards him. Did he honestly think that she couldn't take care of herself, please! It would be him, alright.

"I would hope I'm not like most women," she protested, crossing her arms and pouting before clearing her throat. "And I certainly hope not. Although, I must say, I'm not much of a princess. And I can't say as I care to be, either. No offense to you or your country."

Arathorn paced back and forth; thinking about his daughter. What a mistake she as making!

My daughter! he thought sharply. We have to talk about this...this decision you are making! I don't think its right! He growled. Boy, if I could get my hands on him, he'd be dead!

Brenwian nearly jumped as she heard a set of thoughts in her head. Frowning, she felt her eyes widen, looking around without trying to attract attention from Cield. I am imagining things, she thought before frowning. What do you mean, daughter? she questioned. She had never had the chance to meet her father. And why is it you want to hurt Legolas?

You stubborn girl! He almost roared. It is I! Arathorn, you're father! He massaged his temples. I have been watching you since you were a little girl.. He smiled. And now, I want to guide you in a very important decision.
