Well, summer's coming to an end, school's starting, and things are getting busy. All of us here at Anduril understand that feeling :/ Take your time getting your assignments done - school comes first.
We do currently have a challenge going, as well as a header contest, so take a look at those.
We just added a photography section to Anduril, so please check it out! We hope it will be very successful.

Me, of course, being the dimwit, I download the files and all, but where do I unzip them? I click "explore" and when I click on "brushes" (that's where I saved them) it doesn't show up with the zipped files. And when I'm saving one, I'll try to unzip another one but it won't let me right click it. I need serious help. dry.gif

Morbid Rose, i know how you feel. I dont understand how you are ment to unzip them or extract them or whatever it is. Im a faliure!
I download them and then i open the file, and its this really weird programmey thing. Help! I want some lurvely brushes.

to unzip/extract you have ot right click on the zipped folder and select extract all..then you open the folder that was extracted and cut and paste those files into your brushes folder in the GIMP program.

would screenshots be helpful?

My computer is criminally insane. The screenshots are COMPLETELY diffrent from mine. Seriously. Instead of a little fodler with a zip on it, its a litle pile of books. huh.gif I have tackeld Fonts after many many hours of frsutraion and computer bashing. I willh ave another go at patterny things, but i think i'll proberbly fail. Surprise surprise!

Hurrah hurrah! Have downloaded shmelly Gimpy brushes. They are all snuggly in their little gimpy brush..er..t.abby thing. BUT, they are ginormouso! Absolutely HUGE! How do i shrink them?

big brushes for big images wink.gif you're going to learn that images are meant to be big enough to accommodate those brushes.
however, you can get around it by resizing your image to be huge, doing the brush, and then resizing it back down to whatever size it was. that would work too I believe.

I'm guessing the site Nate put on here worked..but now it says that the boards on that site had to be closed. dry.gif This stuff always happens to me. haha

Do those other sites work well too?
