C r e s t w a l l S c h o o l R u l e s<span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'>Crenshaw Academy is a school of honorable and talented boys who excel in the gift of art and entertainment. Mainly, this school will teach the fundamentals of keeping responsible, the history of entertainment, the art of entertainment and much more. Crenshaw will also teach Math, English, Science and History, as well as a few more extracurricular activities. This school is an all-boys school, and not all boys are able to attend. Please read the following rules and eligibility for more information.
Eligibility of Attendance- Students must pay and educational fee of $300 a month.
- Scholarships will disallow students to pay the educational fee.
- Student must be passing her previous school, with no F’s and ranging a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Students must be residents in the United States Territory. Foreigners* or students from a different country will not be easily determined to attend Crestwall. They must be able to pay the educational fee and pay for the additional travel expenses and process, requiring legality in papers.
- Student must have good citizenship scores in her previous school(s).
- Student must have good attendance records from her previous school(s).
- Overall, student must be able to present quality and quantity, with good reviews of her permanent records to be qualified in Crestwall.
School Behavior CodeAll students must show
courtesy,
respect, and
responsibility at all times. Courtesy is exemplified by well mannered and gracious conduct. Students should show a positive, sincere consideration for others at all times. Students respect others and themselves. They avoid being disrespectful, and exhibit high regard for personal and public property. Students will not show explicit content and will use courteous language at all times. Students must take responsible in their actions and are held accountable for their conduct.
Crenshaw Academy does not tolerate sexual harassment, hate crimes, or discrimination on the basis of gender, race, color, religion, national origin, ethnic group, marital or parental status, or physical or mental disability.
Campus CleanlinessEvery student is expected to do his/her part to keep our campus clean.
Gum chewing is not allowed. Demerits will be given out if a teacher or staff catches you chewing gum. No littering, under any circumstances. Trash bins are scattered around the school, so please, do your part and do not litter or chew gum.
Dress Code- Shoes must be worn at all times.
- Hats are not allowed in the classrooms or inside hallways, except in the athletics department. No beanies, bandanas, sweatbands, or hairnets allowed.
- No altering of the school uniform, especially when the altered clothing creates a threatening or intimidating atmosphere. The uniform shall be free of all writing, pictures, studded or spiked projections, except for the Crestwall insignia.
- Hair shall be clean and neatly groomed and shall be of natural color, and styled in a manner that does not distract from the learning environment.
- Undergarments must be covered at all times. No showing bare midriffs or bras.
- No unwanted piercings, please.
- No excessive tattoos present on the skin. A few is okay, but an arm full of tattoos will result in wearing long sleeved shirts all year long.
Food ServicesBreakfast and snack items are available at break and lunch in the cafeteria. Students are able to purchase their lunches outside the campus from the village, but all students must be able to attend classes after lunch on time or demerits will be given.
Health ServicesMs. Mary Jane** will be present on campus nine hours a day. Parents will be notified of accidents and are responsible for transporting students except in the case of extreme emergency. Medications will be given only upon the written request of a physician. All medications must be in their original container, labeled with the student’s name and stored in the nurse’s office.
NewspaperCrestwall Academy produces
‘The Crest News’*** and will be updated every month. Students are able to purchase them for 10 cents. Contents will vary depending on the information produced and found. World news will also be written in, as well as school news. Editors and writers include students and teachers.
Phone UseStudents are allowed to use the telephone booth in the first floor for 50 cents to contact their parents or anyone else they desire.
Cell phones are not allowed anywhere in the campus, and will be stored immediately in the Headmistress’s office once found. Students are forbidden to use cell phones in their dorms.
Radios, Laptops, Novelty ItemsIt is the student’s responsibility to keep their items in perfect nature. Radios, Laptops, CDs, cameras or any electronic devices are not permitted during class sessions. They are to be placed in dorms and outside campus. Owned bicycles and sport supplies will be stored in the Athletic Department for safe storage, and will be open to students who would like to use them. Each student will have their own storage and combination code from Ms. Reeves**, the athletics teacher. Crestwall Academy is not responsible for stolen, damaged, or confiscated items.
School PropertyDamage in school property will result in a fine and expulsion of school privileges, meaning that the student will be caused to do any punishments decided by the Headmistress.
Other Rules to Keep in Mind- No smoking on campus
- No alcohol usage on campus. There is a bar, however, in the village. Please do not drink on campus.
- Use of lethal weapons on campus is highly prohibited
* [L&T] is not going to allow so many foreign students in the site. We would like only a few students in each school to have foreign students. Yes, there is a limit, and once that limit is filled, we will not allow anymore foreign students.
