First of all- I am very sorry if this kind of topic has been made before me. I was too lazy to search inside and out in this place.
*blush* I hated TR in the start. I was 11 or 10 when I discovered them. (that means one year ago) I really couldn't stand the "man's voice who sings the freaky song, wich is called 'in those shadows' "
Thats right! I hated TR. Then I started to like the band's music. I couldn't help by always wanting to hear..umm...they're songs.
Oh and I asked how. I guess my steppy(stepfather) liked they're songs so I had to hear it to once in awhile.

I'd never heard of them until in the shadows was released, but as soon as I heard it, I loved it. I think it was guilty that really started the obsession, and now they are my new religion!!
It's weird, I always thought lauri was cute because he was so unconventionally beautiful, but the more I watched the video for in the shadows, the more I loved them!!
now about a year along I have 3 of their albums, have been to a concert and now am the proud owner of a 5 foot high poster of lauri's head

I discovered the rasmus like in March, i was in Audioslave's forum, and someone posted a pic of him, and i was like who the fuck is that hot guy?? then I started to search through the net, and i found lot of info about them, and like a week later I saw "In the shadows" on MTV, and when i saw the video, I was like..... this will become your new obsession Jen, LOL then I met Gaby and a couple of months later, we decided to make a forum, we did 1 and wich never work, then another, which I never really liked it, and now we have this one which i absolutly adore hehehehe

In the shadows, april time.i saw there video on the Box (music channel) and it was like 'wow! i like these guys!' and i downloaded Kazza a week later and downloaded 50 odd songs and then 7 months down the line here i am! not the biggest rasmus fan but i still think they are an awesome band and that they deserve all the awards they have won and are all really great muicians! and i could go on for ages but i'll leave the rest of the novel to be completed by someone else......

I'm the same with "In the Shadows" ... that was the first song that I heard from them. But that was earlier this year, we don't really get TR over in the US, so I have an excuse to be late in getting into them. I fell in love with that song, got a hold of other songs and they were great.

at 1st i hated them 2!when in the shadows was released,everytime i was watching MTV there were those shadow-boys' video begining,everytime i saw that,i shot the tv off.then,1 day i decide 2 give that video a try n so did i.at 1st i found maself saying oohhh..oho...then,i realized a guy playing drums in a crazy way...i watched him..without leaving my eyes,i watched him...later,i realized that the other members's appearances were unusual 2,so i loved the band,n so loved the song..the song had a gr8 rtyhm..the only thing i need!...then,1 day my sis. akked me if i wanted their cassete,n i wanted.but the cassetye was broken down...i became upset....became upset in a way i hadn't guessed....then my sis. realized n bought a CD as a gift..i screamed frm happiness...that moment,i understood that i loved that band very very much...and that boy..the drummer...that's it!

I first heard of TR when I saw in the shadows on TV and i loved it. Then wen I saw guilty I fell in love with Lauri.

I like them since I was watching MTV & noticed In The Shadows video. I never watch to new videos, but this one had something that kept me watching...The song was amazing, but MTV didn't show the name of the band at the end of the video. When I watched the video again, I realized it was The Rasmus. One of my ex finnish friends talked about them but I didn't know anything about them. I bought a copy of Dead Letters, but just listened to In The Shadows. I because a big fan when I saw their perfomance on MTV Latin America Music Awards.

Mom gave me Dead Letters as one of the christmas presents. I noticed it's not the Limited Version & it just have the original 10 songs. Guilty & The One I Love sound differently on this album but I love every version of their songs Guilty has better guitars on it than on the Limited Version album.

Since dad will buy me the DVD, I'll try to download The Rasmus DVD if I can't get it here. My obsession is so big that I have a big collection of videos on my computer, I use Winamp, so my skin is about The Rasmus lol, wallpapers...I still want a poster, a finnish girl sent me some posters by mail, but I think I'll take ages to reach here lol.

I'm interested to buy original The Rasmus albums. I might do if I get the Credit Card or if a finnish person is kind enough to buy for me & then I pay her lol.

but after I heard "Funeral Song" I got addicted to The Rasmus. On my 18th birthday I
got the album "Dead Letters" and after that I became a fan.
