You're right, Erin, SNL didn't have to change the wording in the sketch at all, if any. And yeah, I had heard that Tina Fey was locked in to play Gov. Palin for about 7 or so sketches which you're right again, will probably take us up to Nov. 4th. Now, I admit I don't watch most, of what Gov. Palin says ..
Partly because, personally, I feel so offended by Sen. McCain's choices lately that anything that he says or what Gov. Palin says is a waste of time. Now this isn't because I'm voting for Senator's Obama & Biden, in fact I'm registered, Non-Partisan
-- I've voted for Republican candidates (thankfully not for Bush either time) in local elections plenty of times. But Sen. McCain's choosing of her just threw me, as I'm sure it did many. I woke up to his announcement and said, "who?" To me it felt very much like a tactical, political maneuver-- a way to sway Hillary voters. Honestly, I had given McCain, Obama & Clinton a fair shake across the board during the primaries. Though granted I wasn't expecting McCain to last and the nominee would've been someone else.
You know as for the Biden/Palin debate tomorrow. No matter what I'm still voting for Obama/Biden. But I want to hear Palin (though her voice annoys me). This is really about her and whether she can fend for herself .. off script. The McCain campaign has been shielding her too long. "Oh, the media is being sexist/biased." What crap. We, the American people don't know this woman, we've never heard of this woman and you want us to blindly vote for her because of what you say? Fat chance. Then she gives three interviews, and that's supposed to tell me more? Keeping her shielded, tells me you've got something to hide, that maybe you're not so sure about her. But I guess tomorrow night will tell. Again this is a test for HER, no matter if Biden is as they say "Let Biden, be Biden." Ok, I'll stop, cause I could go on and on.
