Training Field # 4, open field by the Nakano River

[Oturan]

Oturan lay down on the grass and stared up at the blue sky, he was completely calm after a long time of non-stop training and pesky missions. He began twirling a piece of stick he had found on the ground around in his mouth, he then sat up. "Xander will be here any minute now, I wonder where he went all this time..anyways none of that matters now Oturan smiled as these thoughts raced through his mind. "He said he wants to see how strong I've become so I guess I'm gonna have to show him I'm not the same little brat I was last year." Oturan said to himself as he held his biceps. Better think up of a few moves I can use on him and some way to counteract that doujutsu of his...damn then again he was strong even without his doujutsu Oturan thought to himself as he held his chin thinking up of some clever moves he could use.

[Xander Umahaga]

Xander, walking through the field to meet his old student, started flexing his new arm. Old man Shinokiga did a great job. It's almost lighter somehow. I guess with the war coming up, he wanted his favorite patient to be at his best. Well, it doesn't matter, I still really like it. Lightly dipping his hand in the water, Xander finally saw the boy. Seeing the boy's brow furrowed in concentration, Xander smiled to himself. Sneaking up on Oturan, Xander popped his head into the kid's view and said, "Looks like you in deep thought. Hope I'm not interrupting." Backing up so the boy could get up, Xander chucked to himself.

[Oturan]

Oturan was so wrapped up in his concentration he hadn't heard Xander. When Xander appeared in front of him Oturan almost died. "Geez Xander-san are you trying to kill me?" Oturan said as he practically jumped out of his skin. Geez Oturan you're such a loser you put ninjas to shame the emperor teasingly said to oturan as he laughed tauntingly at him deep within his sub-conscious. One day I'm gonna kill you emperor Oturan said to himself as he clenched his fist. "YOSH!!" Oturan shouted as he flung his fist in the air, "I've been waiting to show you how much stronger and faster I have become since our last training session, but first" Oturan stopped and reached in his jumpsuit to pull out his sake bottle walking towards a tree resting it besides it's stump along with his wallet. "OK the usual right sensei, the loser sponsors the winner with a hot bowl of Ichiraku Ramen." Oturan declared as he headed back to the spot where Xander was standing.

Oturan was waiting for his sensei to signal the starting of the sparring match. Oturan placed his hand in his jumpsuit and touched one of his kunai knife waiting for the signal that Xander was ready. Oturan figured that he would either use the kunai to defend against any oncoming shuriken from Xander or he could use the kunai as a distraction and do one of his vanishing moves. I'll throw this kunai if I see an opening and when he dodges I'll rush up to his side and hit him with a round house kick sounds fool proof. The emperor chuckled Oturan is such a child, but I wonder if this Xander can see me with his Meragan, my body heat along with my power has increased since he last encountered oturan, if he is able to read my body heat then well then things will get a bit troublesome the emperor thought to himself as he watched Oturan's plan go into motion from deep within Oturan's mind.

[Xander Umahaga]

As Oturan walked back to set his sake down at the tree, Xander called out to him. "I see you took my advise about not being intoxicated for a fight. That right there shows improvement. And I think that arrangement works out. Loser buys. So," Xander started, as the smile that was once on his face dropped, "I told you that this time neither of us will hold back. Meragan!" Xander yelled, activating his kekkai genkai. Letting the change of color adapt, Xander knelt down toward his ankles. Pulling up his pant legs to reveal the weights that rested there, he unclipped the clasp, pulling them off. Thank you Rock Lee Sensei. I have increased the weight tenfold since we last saw each other. Time to see how fast it made me.

Standing tall and facing his opponent, Xander took one step forward...but then disappeared from Oturan's sight. Appearing behind Oturan's back with speed he never thought he could have, Xander said, "Begin." He then reached back over his shoulder, grabbed Oturan by the neck and shoulders, and launched him forward. Then, pressing the button on his arm, Xander ejected the hilt of his blade and drew it to ready himself.

[Oturan]

Oturan was stunned as he watched take the weights and vanished from in front of him. Dammit he was wearing weights, where'd the hell did he go?? Oturan thought to himself as he looked left and right, as he was just about to turn around he felt something grabbed him and launched him forward. Oturan quickly got up and regained his footing only to see Xander with his blade already drawn. That speed will be troublesome, let me see that was about level 2 Oturan smirked as he thought to himself. "That was pretty fast but you're not the only one who has speed on his side." Oturan said as he stooped down "I'll have to go to level three.." Oturan silently whispered to himself. Phantom:level three Oturan smirked he launched his kunai at Xander before the kunai could meet Xander Oturan was already behind Xander, the spot where Oturan was once standing was scorched with fire. "See Sensei, I'm on a whole different level now I'm still a few levels below the fourth hokage's speed but I have one more level left, but if I go there this fight would be as good as finished" Oturan whispered into Xander's ears as he placed his hands on Xanders back, "Now I know your body's heat signature," Oturan said as he waved back at Xander from where he stood before with a smile on his face. "By the way sensei, "Oturan said as the smiled that was on his face vanished "If I were you I would get as close to that water as soon as possible then again if I reached level four it would be hopeless..." Oturan sighed as he adjusted his headband. Waiting for Xander to make his next move, he could now sense Xander's body heat signature thanks to the help of the Emperor. Phase 1 is now complete Oturan smirked.

[Xander Umahaga]

Watching his opponent closely, Xander was surprised when Oturan disappeared. Bringing his hand up into a hand sign, Xander finally found where Oturan had gone, which was right behind him. Doing it almost instinctively, Xander used a subtle substitution of one of his Replacement Mannequins. Hoping this fooled his opponent, Xander watched from a tree as the boy was whispering to what he thought was his opponent. Smirking, Xander watched as the kid disappeared again and watched where he ended up. Knowing Oturan would be thinking himself proud, Xander used his new found speed to appear behind him. "Wow. Your speed is far better than what I expected. But what were you saying about heat signature? Cause I'm sure that doll there is only giving off cold. But you? I'd say if you could see fear in heat, I would be seeing your terror right now." Quickly giving the hand signs on his right hand, Xander brought his index finger and thumb up to his mouth, making a circle, and yelled, "Fire Style; Giant Fireball Jutsu!" Sending the large ball of flame into Oturan's back, Xander hoped this would teach him to take the fight a little bit more seriously.

[Oturan]

The fireball consumed Oturan's body creating a huge ball of fire. "What exactly are you aiming at Xander sensei?" Oturan asked as he stooped down on a nearby branch, "That was a close one, " I guess it's a good thing I am at Level three, did you know that the phantom is, let me explain my jutsu a little," Oturan said as he yawned and sat down on the nearby branch. "By the way the only reason I am explaining this jutsu to you is to give you an opportunity to protect yourself when I use the final form." Oturan sighed and then continued. "See, this is actually a bit of genjutsu mixed with some taijutsu. It took me six weeks just to prefect level one anyways the jutsu creates an illusion something like a close up mirage, it consists of sharp and short bursts of chakra to move just at the right time, see I'm there but the moment I sense your movement I increase my chakra flow ready to move at any given time, leaving an afterimage like a phantom. So I can move around as freely as I want to." Oturan vanished and appeared in front of the now simmering down fireball. Suddenly and without warning Oturan lunged forth at Xander seeming to disappear he then dived down, and drives a knee strike and grabs the Xander's leg simultaneously. Getting around Xander while still catching onto his leg. Oturan used his other hand to pull the Xander's neck back and uses a knee to push on the Xander's back, effectively strangling Xander. Shinigami Nowa (Circle of the Shinigami) Oturan yelled "This move is deadly...... by now you should have already used a substitution jutsu so I have no need to be careful but I just want to show you, how serious I am about this fight, Ramen is on the line here.... and know this as soon as you get serious I won't even give you a chance to use hand signs.." Oturan yelled out.

Jeez what a moron getting serious for some stupid Ramen... The emperor yelled as he changed his position to a more comfortable one.

[Nickito]

A brisk wind blew through Training Field #4 as Nickito Tasogare located himself by the Nakano River, crouching down by the quick flowing body of water that passed through the Village Hidden in the Leaves. Absentmindedly he moved his hand about in a clockwise circle, manipulating a small part of the water in the river, making a fist sized whirlpool with barely any suction. He was scheduled to have a spar with another Chunin of the Village, though he didn't recall ever meeting him before. He didn't know what to expect, but he had confidence that he would be able to hold his own, thanks to the training under Neji he had gone through.

[Karaot Muzaki]

Karaot Muzaki one of the highest prospects from the Hidden leaf Village and highly regarded as one of the best Chunin's in his age roup and defintley one to watch for the future. After Karaot's performance against Tiacaro in the skills round in the Jonin Exams who had easily matched up Tiacaro one of the strongest ANBU members in the village causing gossip around the village with the topic of Karaot Muzaki being talked about the most where he shocked thousands with his performance against one of ANBU'S elite and should of not of matched up to Tiacaro that easily and now was considered the one to watch in the Jonin Exams.

Karaot Muzaki was supposed to meet a student of Neji Hyuga so he could access his abilties against his own and see how far he could go against karaot Muzaki in a sparring match and Karaot was curious to see this student of Neji because they didn't seem to know each other and how he would ract when he comes face to face with him for the first time.

Up ahead he saw someone crouched near the river manipulating some parts of the water. Karaot Muzaki finally arrived at the scene where he stepped into the river using his chakra control looking down at the person he was supposed to face. The River reacted widly to Karaot's prescene where the water came shooting up at Karaot where it seemed to be under karaot's control and was attracted to Karaot.

" So you must be Neji's Student I presume" karaot said in a confident tone. Eager and ready to fight.

[Nickito]

"Yea, I am... One of them anyway," he replied dully, his eyes affixed to the water that flowed before him. "I guess you're my opponent for this sparring match. Karaot or something, is that right?" Nickito asked, moving from his crouched position by the river into a standing position, looking his opponent over unenthusiastically. Up until that moment he wasn't even aware of Karaot's existence. When Nickito was told to meet him there, he thought it might be a prank of some sort, because he hadn't heard of the Chunin at all. He was told that he was skilled though, so Nickito had readily accepted the challenge.

"I'm told that you're hot shit. I'm not so bad myself," the Tasogare said, his tone revealing that he seemed somewhat bored, and not at all excited. He liked meeting new people up until recently, but that had changed rather quickly. Now he just felt displaced by everyone that had been showing up while he had been in seclusion, they seemed to be coming out of the wood work, so to speak.

"So what's say we get started sooner rather than later. I'm hoping to get home early and get to bed, so hopefully we won't go on forever," said the ninja, offering a small smile to his sparring partner.

[Karaot Muzaki]

" I'm looking foward to see what you've got" karaot said with a smirk on his face with his arms crossed across his chest looking towards Neji's student who was supposed to be this incredible talent which Neji had nothing but praise for.

" I'll let you have the first move" Karaot said in a high voice encouraging his opponent to take his best shot at him waiting to see if Neji was all talk or he did really have a Chunin with high potential worth seeing. Karaot remained with with his arms crossed across his chest waiting for his opponent to make the first move.

" This is going to be a very intersting fight. I can tell just look those eyes he's really going to put up a fight. It wouldn't be much point if he wasn't I would be wasting my time if wasn't here to fight. afterall this is to test his abilities" Karaot said to himself inside his head followed up by a smirk on his face looking up at his opponent.

[Nickito]

"Alright then. Good luck to us both," Nickito said with a genuine smile.

After pausing for a moment, and allowing his Chakra to course through his body and enter his muscles, he launched himself into a series of back flips, opening up a considerable space between himself and his opponent. With a final jump into the air, combined with a slight spin, he soon found himself standing on the other side of the river, facing Karaot down diagonally. Taking a deep breath, Nickito moved his hands into the formation of the Dragon Hand Seal, focusing his Chakra in preparation to use his Kekkei Genkai, the Mizushushou.

In seconds a mass of water had swelled up just to the side of Nickito, as if gravity had become nonexistent over part of the river. While still attached to the strongly flowing river, the water began to shoot towards Karaot in a series of swerves, almost like a slide in midair. While maintaining the Dragon Hand Seal, Nickito directed where the water would go simply with his mind, going through with pure will power. It was a simple opening attack, but he wasn't about to do anything fantastic or over the top just yet. After all, the match had just started.

[Karaot Muzaki]

Karaot Muzaki looked up towards the attack that was towards him no no great concern on face where he just smiled on. " Oh please as if that attack will be a challenege remember who you are facing. I'm the master water type user in the Hidden leaf Village I know ever counter to every water attack" karaot said in his head. Karaot performed a few quick hand signs, " Water Release: High Water Defensive wall", karaot slammed his hand on the ground and a huge amount of water came out from the river forming a shape of a wall and appeared in front of Karaot Muzaki protecting karaot from the Jutsu used by his opponent that hit the the defensive wall hard but didn't even make a dent on karaot's High defensive wall afterall this was one of Karaot's strongest defenses and not even a Rasegan or Chidori could even dent the wall since it was that powerful. Karaot quickly reached into his pouch and pulled out 8 shirukiens which he threw towards his opponet after the wall came down after using it. But with wire strings attached to them invisble to the nake eye karaot pulled the wire strings.

The Shurikens started to spin round until it got faster and then to a higher veloicty which caused them to explode from the effect from the paper bombs placed on them and due to Karaot's clever creactivity senbons cames shooting out from the exploding shiruikens heading towards his opponent at a high speed.

[Nickito]

"Go ahead and talk about what a master of water you are. I manipulate water almost effortlessly, so your skill with it won't do you much good against me," Nickito said, almost in warning to his opponent, watching as the wall of water that he had erected came down.

As it fell, it appeared that Karaot had drawn several weapons and let them loose, no doubt aiming at Nickito himself. 'No worries,' the ninja thought to himself, his hands still in the form of the Dragon Hand Seal. Dropping the water he had been channeling as an attack, he made use of the mass that was still flowing up before him and wrapped the water around himself in a dome that measured six feet in diameter. With a sudden clench of his hands, the water would freeze into three inch thick ice, and at the same time, the water outside would fall back into the river, flowing along as it naturally should.

Seconds later he heard several sounds signaling impact, but as he observed the ice, and replayed the sound in his head, it didn't sound like just shuriken to him. "Tricky little bastard." he said to himself, nodding his head. "Guess this really is gonna be fun."

With the release of Chakra, the ice around him fell quickly, instantaneously turning into water that returned to the river, taking the senbon that had been lodged in it as well. "I'm not sure what you did, but it sure was a nice trick," he called, his hands around his mouth to project the sound better.

Instantly though, his hands were down and forming Hand Seals, and upon completion he seemed to burst into tiny droplets of water, disappearing into seemingly nothing thanks to his Genjutsu: Water Droplet Escape. It was impossible for his opponent to know where he was now, and Nickito liked having that element to his advantage.

He sat at the top of a tree now, his body flicker having been well disguised by his Genjutsu, and his current location well covered by the leaves of the tree, and the strong branches that now supported him. He took a moment to catch his breath and gather his thoughts, already having decided upon his next move. With a massive amount of Chakra built up into his arm, and his gloves now covering his hands, he lunged from the tree, sure to keep as quiet as possible as he sailed through the air towards where Karaot was standing. His aim was to strike him in the chest with a solid punch and release the Chakra from his fist upon impact, producing a destructive force that would shatter his opponent, or if he managed to dodge, shatter the ground beneath and around him.
