Tsuki had never expected death to have been so quiet. There truly was nothing after this life. He wanted scream in that infinite darkness that surrounded him, yet his voice was just a memory. He had no idea how long he had been missing from the chaotic world that he once called home, nor did it matter. Now he was just a corpse. He died sometime ago and into the endless deep he had fallen. His lungs filled with salt water and blood. His skin froze in those black waves. Even the pain faded after a time. Now he was nothing.
In this endless abyss he finally had time to think. He contemplated who and what he was, came up with no good answers, then turned his attention to everything else. They say your life flashes before your eyes when you die, not for this monster though, his life flashed when he was gone. He saw the faces of all the people he had killed. Each one of their faces twisted in the agony of death. Now his own face was added to that list of the dead. More so, he saw the faces of those had NOT killed. He saw his beautiful and hot headed brother,; the strange white haired child who he had almost killed; the one with the metal arm; and of course the little pregnant girl who fought him. He wanted to know about them. To know if someone else had killed them.
Time flew by in an indistinguishable blur. Then the strangest thing happened, he "felt" something. He wasn't alone. Not only that but he felt just the stir of air passing in and out of his lungs. A deep red light filled his vision, he could see. With every ounce of strength he could muster he opened his eyes. They pulled open just enough to see the endless blue of the sky above him. He turned his frozen eyes to look just to his right. He was correct. There was something here. Nestled in the sand just a few feet from him was a small dog. It barked like a hurricane. Tsuki cringed from the sudden sound. He had not heard in ages.
Soon enough there were other sounds. Voices, footstep, laughing. People had come to find their dog. They would help him, he knew. Then he he could find his brother. Now that he was alive all he could think about was that bastard. He needed to be with him again. After all, who would do the planning if he wasn't around?
