I woud like to create games as a job when i get out of collage (even though i didnt start yet.)


So then i though what if i ask them if i could make a sequel? and if they let me then that would be great.... although i would rather play the sequel then make it.


but i did put some thought in it.

First off there are three heroes Kya,Frank and Takya ( a girl i made up over a year ago, she is kya & franks cousin) the story will more shine on takya then kya and frank.
so here is how it goes so far.

Takya one day goes to kya and frank's house but see's that no one is there, she looks for them and finds the secret room she starts to investigate and finds the medallion and touches it too, it warps her to the world of the Nativs, she apears in the roots and finds a female nativ village, the chief there tells takya to go to the male village, then takya goes and meets atea he tells her everything and she decides to find kya and frank but first she should get a weapon becuase who knows what's out there, atea say they are out of boomy's but have a new weapon called a Boomyrang (original isn't it? ,its merley a three winged boomy and is stronger than a boomy) takya then comes back and goes through the portal, and now she is then in a strange black abyss with a dream feal to it she looks around and finds some plants then a monster comes out and fights her (then there would be a battle tutorial) then after she defeats the monster, a ring appears and a bird comes by and says that it is the ring of ____(can't think of what i called it and am too lazy right now to look at the paper i wrote it on) the bird then says that by using the ring it will be able to let you choose the world you want to go. takya thanks the bird for telling her about the ring and starts to leave, but the bird wants to come and takya let's it.
thats all i have for the story right now.

now here are other things i have thought of.

first off i am thinking that we have three flying critters that join the three, the bird, stuff and a lightning bug. all three can help attack enemies by the hero issuing a command, they all have one attack but later can learn more. i also think it would be cool that at one point the player can pick which creature accompanies who, although the three need to meet first.

i also thought about magic, i think they should be able to use the 4 spells that brazul used in the final battle in kya dark lineage, plus others like a tornado, also they can have magic affinities, Kya= Wind , Takya= Water, frank= fire or lightning or earth (which suits him?), each character will be able to learn spells only they can learn and will be based on thier affinity.

Also weapons i was thinking that they can all have a total of 7 weapons, 5 weapons that are character only and 2 that anyone can use.

Takya=Boomyrang, needles,whip,dagger,bo-staff
Kya=Boomy, boomy on a chain (similar to a whip), throwing knives, a blunt wooden thing, a spear.
Frank=Wrench,Sword,ninja stars, gear ( its like this large thing that can be swung around but can also shoot gears.), a hammer.


so what do you think?

If you end up creating Kya 2 I won't stop thinking that it's kind of ironic in a way, don't ask me why I just think so.

But if you're good I'd gladly help because I want a part in this really badly.

I just started college a few days ago, well actually i also took a summer semester so i will graduate a bit earlier than others that waited for the fall semester.

maybe if you can make frank switch between wolfen and human if he has a full energy bar or something

That's a good idea, there could be some wolfun left in him. But I think you can argue that the idea is alot like the concept in the Jak & Daxter games where Jak can turn into Dark Jak when he is full on dark eco. People might say that it's copying but I would still use that idea.

It's a good idea and makes sense, thats what counts. sides there's a game called fable 2, and i have noticed things in it from commercials that are very similar to kya (a dog that is like stuff and tells the hero info and what not, and a wolf creature that looks like frank wolfen).

i was also thinking of a prequel where the story is about brazul and about his world and before he was evil, i started a story some time ago, its in the fanfic section.

I came up with a side story a year ago where it takes place right at the point they are attacked by some unknown creature and the game starts with this battle after they escape the sequel game .It's been one year since they traveled to the Nativ world and Kya and Frank are attending school at this point.Everything seems to be back to normal until Kya spots a nativ in her gym class,taking it in the storage room and finding out that the gates never closed(giving a portal to both worlds open)and there is some else causing rifts to other world to appear (only Kya,Frank, and the nativs can see them) but Brazul is not the one behind it.Unknowing to Kya is her race is still alive and someone is sending them to the Earth world to retrieve the power source. Led by Zala,the Le'Bleu race are reforming nativs into wolfen and sending them to both worlds to not only find the rectacle but to hunt down Brazul as well. Now tasked with stopping the unkown force and sealing the other world portals,Kya takes on a new enemies as well as old ones to end what her father started.

I decided to make female nativs too they take more a wolfen form after giving birth to liter they leave the males and take the females. The female nativs talk and are not dumb like the male brainwashed wolfen.They keep themselves seperated so that there is no overpopulating because the Native village can't carry the capacity space. One of the leaders is Atea's daughter,she has a strong connection with him.

One of Kya's friend/rival Mya is Zala daughter,this is found out later in the game when Kya finds out more about her mother,Kada Mana, the first leader of the Le'Bleu.

cools idea, i'm in a rush so i didn't read it all though, when i can i read it from start to finish. i think it's a good idea if female nativs showed up.

I'll try typing it on DA soon I just don't know how to do that just yet but I'm learning though.

Thats cool, I read everyones stories and such, it'd be great for Hotspot to create Kya 2... Im not being negative, but if Atari doesn't let a Full-fledged famous game company create the game, why would Atari let you create it?

yeah i thought something similar, but you never know until you try. so if worse comes to worse i'll ask them, or maybe i can get another company to do the honors?
