[B]Is there a place where I can find out what larger size turbo will interchange/fit my 94 Mitsubishi.
The engine is the 4 cylinder 20 valve turbo, but I would like to upsize by finding a used one, salvage yard etc. New turbos even rebuilt ones cost an arm and a leg here in Japan, so I plan to start searching in other ways. Can't check the local car mags for used stuff it's all in Japanese, and the American military guys buy big cars Silvias, GTRs, etc., etc.

Also interested in stage 1 or stage 2 cams for the right price, here the would cost 3 times what I paid for the little car. cool.gif

That I don't know for sure one mechanic tells me that the turbo I have is not the stock unit by the way it's mounted. The stock unit (quite small) fits down lower and reqires longer hoses for the inner cooler but my turbo is mounted higher and has very short hoses. I'll have to get into it and see if I can find numbers etc., I do know this that for a 660cc engine it runs (or a least it feels that way) as quick as some of my old muscle cars. Top end it would be no match but short distances 1/8 to 1/4 mile it would hold it's own. Remarkable for a 660cc engine.

As an old southern boy instead of "cheers' we'd say with of course a southern drawl "here's to ya!"

i think that the 4a30t is found in the pajero mini
and you could get a td04 from a evo to fit due to the size of the 4a30t

this may help you
